Jill, Brooklyn was too cute getting her bathing suit on first thing in the morning and "supervising" John putting the slide together! It looks like so much fun!!!
I think we will go see Up when we get back from WDW to ease our Disney Depression!
MeMom, enjoy your last day off before heading back to school!
That'll be good to have something Disney to look forward later in the summer. I am looking so forward to Toy Story 3 coming out
next summer!
I went to church, and it was a very good service - very uplifting. Then I came home and fixed spaghetti. Since it is my last day, I will probably do a little bit of nothing the rest of the day except savor the freedom.
That slide looks like so much fun! Brooklynn looks like she was having a blast!
Glad you enjoyed Up! We plan to see is sometime...hopefully next weekend. Hannah keeps asking to see it!
Hannah's dancing pictures were so cute!
I bet she and Brooklynn and a bunch of other Dis kids could have hours of fun on that thing. Jill needs to have a big Dis meet in her back yard!
just so you know, i haven't posted them yet. anna has my camera since she broke hers right before our NYC trip and she's going to the renaissance festival today and wanted to borrow it. so i can't upload them until i get it back. but they'll be there soon!
I'll keep checking!
BrooklynnsMommy
You have the perfect yard for the slide, and you have your privacy too.

So if you notice my ticker I have had to change my original plans. Much to my dismay and sadness I had to postpone my trip....a month. These are the times I wish I was wealthy.
Plans: Leave Friday Sept.25
Arrive Sat. afternoon and stay off site (couldn't get the extra night at Disney)
Go to DTD that night....eat at TRex
Stay at ASMusic from Sun.27-3.
We still get Free Dinning!!! I hope to get some good ADR's!
Have a great Sunday!!!
She has the perfect yard for a Dis picnic, huh?
Sorry about postponing, but free dining is awesome, and Jill might be there at that time. She asked me about going, but if I did, it would have to be for just 2-3 days, flying down to meet them already there, and me bunking in with them. I don't know. We'll see. I've got nine days off later in October. I know the
MNSSHP is going to be calling my name, and our cousins are seriously thinking about a trip that week, since one of them teaches in the same system I do and will have the same break. It sure would be fun for the little cousins to go to MNSSHP together.
Going to DTD is perfect for your first night. You'll be in Disney, even if you have to stay somewhere else.
So sorry you had to postpone. At least you still get to go and take advantage of free dining. I can assure you that MeMom and I would take Brooklynn out of school in a heartbeat to go to Disney. MeMom has skipped school to go before and when they are younger they aren't really missing that much anyway. I'm trying to talk John into a quick weekend trip for my birthday which means our dates would overlap (My birthday is the 5th) I'll let you know if I talk him into it and maybe when can meet.
I was sick, I'll have you know!
My principals both helped me cough as they were telling me to have fun!
Oh
BrooklynnsMommy you have made my day!
I was feeling so guilty for taking them out of school and thought I would be shunned. Thanks for the encouragement.
It would be fantastic if our paths would cross....I would love to see you!
There is more to life than school and work. Gotta have some fun, too!
I'm caught up!!
Phew. That was a lot of reading. I don't remember what I was going to comment on....whoops. I need to take notes next time.
The water slide looks like so much fun!! Much better than the slip n' slide I had when I was younger. Brooklynn is a lucky girl!
You probably need to be taking a nap to recuperate from your trip right now!
My kids has a couple of slip-n-slides in their days, too. Great fun!
Awww Jill love the pictures of Brooklynn and the slide! At 92 degrees I'm sure she needed it and it looks like so much fun!
MeMom love the Jammin Jungle Parade pictures. We didn't see it this time so maybe I can convince my BF to stay for it next time
Yep, try to see it. I think you'd like it.

I'm going to move faster, since we're down to eight weeks before we leave.
Kay had her picture made by the Rainforest sign. She thought her grandkids would think the animals were cool.
She really wants to take her whole family down someday, but her husband is not a Disney-type person. He does golf, though, so I told her to try to sell him on that. I would love to see her be able to go with all of her kids and grandkids and even a reluctant husband, because I know she would get such a thrill out of that.
Next on our agenda was time at Animal Kingdom Lodge.
Not only did I
need to get some zebra domes, someone here among our Dis friends will be going to live here soon, so I wanted to get pictures for her.
But first, lights for
LL.
And continuing on for
CP.
What do you think of the place?
Aren't these chairs neat?
We wandered around inside for a while, and then made our way to Mara.
These were the treasures I was seeking.
Kay wanted to just go ahead and have supper there, so we did.
I had the salad, and she had the flatbread.
