Hi MeMom and Crew! I have been MIA...and just got caught up on this TR! First off... CONGRATS Jill for your new lil'

, she is just perfect!

I'm sure your Brooklynn will make just the perfect big sister, OH MY she is growing so FAST! MeMom, we are planning an additional trip this year as FD came along, YIPPEEE! and where to....your FAV POP! Couldn't pass up this deal, did you look into it

. Would like to ask you, what area of the hotel do you think I should ask for? I would like to be near Classic Hall, the Food Court, Pool (I have a 7 yr old). Can you share a FAV area, being the expert POP'ER (is that a word, LOL) you are? Just want to experience all this neat hotel has to offer! TIA
P.S> We should have a HUGE DIS MEET for NYE at the POLY BEACH! Would love to say HI to you guys.
We always are glad when our MIA's return to the fold!
Bella is absolutely perfect; I agree!
We have had good rooms in the 70's twice. Both were just a stone's throw from Classic Hall. I personally liked the poolside room we had in the Jukebox building, but it was not close to the main area. For closeness, ask for the Big Wheel building or the Lady building, unless you want to pay preferred and get in the closer 60's rooms. There are some non-preferred 60's, too, on the lake side, but if I were you, I'd probably ask for the 70's Big Wheel to be close.
Anyone else want to chime in with opinions to help?
A Dis meet at the Poly sounds great! We're marking our calendar for NYE.
So far all we've gotten is the magazine, certificate and a poster. Oh and a membership card. And of course we get to
buy all kinds of club merchandise! We'll see

I'll let you know if they come out with anything really exciting (and worth the membership cost!)
Definitely do, because if it is worth it, I'm in.
I think they had richer people than me in mind when they did this.
Morning to all!
I have some sad news to report, I had to change my trip from 11 nights to 7 nights.
I looked at my finances and I had to make a little cut. (thanks to the washer/dryer...

)
I am still excitted about the trip and I will plan for next year to be longer.
Now I have to decide which ADR's to cut from my list, it's hard because I want to try them all.
That is a bummer, but life does us in sometimes. You still have a good long week, and everything that gets marked off your list can be the start of a new list for the next trip!
I just adore One Man's Dream. I love looking at all of the displays.
I also love that no matter who takes the pictures, they are always of different things I didn't take of One Man's Dream. It's neat!
I'm glad you saw some new things. I'll go back again this summer, I'm sure, and I will take notes on the movie this time!
I love one mans dream its such a pleasant AIR CONDITIONED walk through experience! We have fun posing next to all the displays your pictures bring back memories and excite me for the new ones!
I think this should be at the front of the park and you should have to go through it when you first enter. Then more people would see and hopefully appreciate it.
This happened to me in College. I had an Art History class that was from 8-10am (thats early for a college student---not for a mommy now though

) in a darkened theater with comfortable theater seats that slightly reclined. It was all I could do to keep from falling asleep during that class!
Confession: Later in the trip report, we will both doze through Impressions de France.
(That beautiful music and peaceful scenery did it to us!)
I haven't ever done One Man's Dream either. I can't wait to check it out and learn more about one of the coolest men ever, Walt Disney. Don't feel bad MeMom, I fell asleep for awhile in the Muppet's 3-D movie. I think it's the combo of an early morning along with a cool/dark theatre.
I hope you do get the chance to go in there. It's very nostalgic. I saw some things from way back when I was watching Mickey Mouse Club of old!
The One Man's Dream exhibit is very cool! Add me to the list of people wanting you check it out. Poor Hollywood Studios, it always draws the short straw when the Mop family goes to Disney!
Yay! Can't wait until the day I get to read all about "The Mop Family Makes it to One Man's Dream". That'll be with your
three men and a little lady in tow!
I WILL do One Man's Dream in July! My crew never wants to do it. I will just have to emphasize the fact that it is air conditioned.
Just go alone if you have to do. It is quite interesting.
Or tell them they can't ride any of Walt's rides unles they go see Walt first!
Whew! I can't believe how long it took me to catch up!!! Poor Jill. So sorry she had to endure stupid and unsympathetic doctors. I'm happy to hear that she is doing better.
Glad to hear that you all survived the storms.
I have never been in One Man's Dream. I believe DH took the older kids in there one time, and I had the little one at Pooh's Playhouse. He said it was boring. I just didn't want to cry. (I'm a big sap)
The girls' Easter dresses were too cute!
It didn't make me cry, but it was pretty cool. It made me appreciate all the efforts that went into making our beloved place of happiness.
I can't wait to see my little babies this weekend!
