oh haha. I thought you were asking where the convo came from. He's the third and his grandpas nickname was Bud for some reason, so they named him Buddy. It was either going to be Trey for III or Buddy for his pawpaw Bud and his mom chose Buddy.

Since I don't have a PTR going yet, I'm going to post my most recent purchase relating to the upcoming trip. (remember, I just couldn't resist downloading a few pictures to my computer...these were them)

got it for $4.99! I never get those good deals people talk about on Disney clothing, but that was my lucky day! (except the Tink one was the only one they had in my size)

Little update of some sort:
I made sure I had all my Disney receipts last night (all except Sci Fi for some reason) so I can show what the cost WOULD have been on all our food.

I also realized that the receipt for Cosmic Rays on the 16th (from the last update) says "Turkey" but I don't remember ever eating Turkey.
Not even a turkey sandwich. I thought we had a chicken sandwich. But I could be wrong. Or they could have it wrong. Who knows.

Then I looked through my camera at all the pictures, and wished I could see them bigger. I enjoyed reminiscing. And I can't wait to show them to all of you! I forgot about some really funny shots we got. Looking through them also made me realize how many potential pictures we MISSED. I think I will be stealing the camera from Mike a lot more this September. We are supposed have a small group this time, so they will be able to take some pics of us, and we'll have a lot more going on in the photos. I'll be able to get them to send me some photos too. We'll have lots of different perspectives. Should be fun!

This past year, I took my camera and took less than one roll of film. Yes - I was slooooow on going digital.

I can tell you how much you spent on food. An arm and a leg. I free disney dining.

I may need some feedback. And I'm probably confusing everyone.

7?! yeah, this technology is outrageous. One of my coworker's 4 year olds has an IPOD! It's only because "mommy" doesn't want to listen to sing-a-longs over and over in the car. I guess I can't blame her!

that's funny...I can't blame you for wanting all those pictures. And Photopass hasn't always been around forever. Heck, even now it's still hard to find those guys, and you have to wait in line sometimes for that.

I don't blame you, I wouldn't want to drive either if I lived that far away from WDW. I think you will have to do your pre-TR updates in here until you get a realy Pre-TR going so as to not confuse everyone

I think the drive there would not be that bad, seeing as how we could leave that Friday after work (I leave at 4) and drive halfway, and the other half Sat. morning. HOWEVER, the hard part would be getting back because Mike has to work Sunday morning and it would suck for him to be in a car all day Saturday, not to mention we'd have to leave much earlier than I want to leave on our last day. So yeah, THAT idea is DEFINITELY out.
Delta has already changed their flights on our departure day (again), the one posted now leaves in the afternoon( better than before but I'm still waiting on that 9:50 am flight to come back ) Are there any Delta employees on the DIS that can take care of this matter for me?

sorry, the others that are coming on the trip are trying to figure out their transportation to Disney since 2 live here(my Mom and sister) and 2 live in Destin (friends) and one of the Destin folks just REFUSES to fly. And she doesn't drive, either. She got in an accident when she was learning as a teenager, and has NEVER driven since. I know that must have been terrible, but I just couldn't see myself going through life without learning to drive---I hate to depend on other people for ANYTHING. I just don't know how she does it!
She wants my mom and sister to drive to Destin the night of the 12th, sleep there, and continue on the next morning (the 4 of them obviously) to Disney.
*Actually she thought all of us would, but Mike and I are spoiled now and will only fly*
If we all went by car we'd have to rent a vehicle big enough for all 6 of us, which is just another expense anyway.
My mom is a nervous driver, and doesn't have a great sense of direction so I guess that's where the concern comes into play. She would much rather fly with us, and they should be able to afford it just fine---so the question is, will our friend's daughter (the 4th person) be willing to drive in the 5 or 6 hours it takes to get to Disney?
OR will my Mom and sister have to meet them so they can all ride into Disney together the next morning?
Oh, and my mom's friend thinks that my Dad is going to get mad that my mom is going, even though he hasn't made a complaint---just said it was "too soon" for him.

Sorry, that turned into a much longer explanation than I set out for it to be!

yeah probably not that bad on the way there but on the way back would stink for Mike for sure. Not fair to him. Plus you want to maxamize your WDW time, not make it shorter by having to drive.
