There's just no comparing the two. Before I watched the 2nd one, I knew going into it that it was meant to be a completely different representation of the story. As long as you don't try to compare, you can sit and enjoy it. (and I did!)

Yup, I love Johnny Depp, and NOT just because he's hot!
In fact, he was pretty creepy in WW. He's just SO amazingly talented.

You are right about it being two different stories. I think the second one was supposed to be more closely based on the book? I think I read that somewhere.

LOL Johnny is hot - but it was easy to forget in that movie. I love when him and Tim Burton pair up though - those tend to be great films.

That is what it looks like when it is closed faced toward me. I guess they like to make it so that when you have the laptop OPEN, the Logo will be right side up (so everyone can read it just fine when you are in a coffee shop or something )

I'll post what I *intended* on posting last night til Mikey got mad. Hey it was his fault that I was up so late...I had a goal of getting my daily survey on SR, finishing TrueEeyore's TR, checking on all my others, and posting these pics here. And he had the computer for a while (stole it when I went to the potty--shame on me for taking potty breaks while DISing! ) I tried to get it back. But he had stuff he needed to do. Geez...doesn't he know how hard it is to keep up on the DIS? See, if I got him into it, I'd NEVER catch up

got it for $4.99! I never get those good deals people talk about on Disney clothing, but that was my lucky day! (except the Tink one was the only one they had in my size)

That 2nd one is my avatar, but I figured I'd repost bigger here. I have had that figment plush since I was a baby.

I guess I should take a picture of my others (Space Mickey & Space Minnie, and Chip & Dale) when I get my new hard drive in.

I never find deals like that either. But then again I haven't been to the mall since my birthday, and that was with my mom in November because she was trying to out-do my dad's birthday present (they were getting a divorce at the time). Love the new laptop. I need to get a new power cable for mine, and then I can be free to roam from the desk top.

I have been to Discover Mills Mall! But not since they put the outlet in .

I will visit there close to the 4th of July b/c me and my aunt always come up to do Peachtree on the 4th. I'm not running this year though - I've put on too much weight and don't have the time to commit to getting back in shape.

We usually hit DM, then on to the Mall of GA in Buford, then back towards the city we hit Gwinett Mall for their Disney Store too. My aunt thinks I am NUTS!

I am converting her though. She heard me talk about Disney so much that she decided to coordinate a trip for her HS's senior trip (she's a teacher) to Grad Night! She's pshyched - it's next weekend. Too bad her first Disney experience is going to be so CROWDED.

I tell him, the list can't really be changing THAT much every day. But he is addicted, I tell ya! I just don't know how anyone can be so addicted to something...do you?

aww, that sucks your parents went through a divorce, and dragged you into the mess of it. I hope you're still close with both of them despite it.

We have one at a mall that is about 40 miles from here. It's not a great one, but it's Disney. Mike found a shirt that reminded me of one of Chris' (Carla's hubby) but they didn't have it in his size. It was 30% off. I would have made him get it!
I forgot to mention, when we were in the store we were talking to a mom of a little girl who was trying on some Ariel flipflops. She was so cute...a shy little thing...about 3 yrs old. I think it was her first time trying on flipflops because she was trying to put the strap between the wrong toes....so cute! The mom said they were going to Disney in a few months and her daughter would be dressing up. We tried talking to her, and my sister even sang a few verses "Part of your World" to her, trying to get her to sing (she knew the whole song). She still wouldn't sing---well, we tried.

Speaking of outlets, I just checked out the SilverSands outlet in Destin, where I'll be going in a few weeks. And guess what! They have A Disney Character outlet!!! (How'd I miss that last time we were there?? )
I'm totally dragging my Mom, sister, and our Destin friends there! (they're coming on our Sept. trip---IF they can work out their transportation. One of our Destin friends refuses to fly and she does not drive either)

Oh this was apparently the second time they were getting a divorce. They are back together now. I'm not real close to my mom in general, specially now that she can't stand my other half. I've ALWAYS been closer to my daddy. True southern daddys girl here.





Oh and I really have created a monster. Buddy just called me randomly and asked me "Are we going to be in the parks the same days as Cheri and Leger?" He says your SN is easy to remember you as Cheri, but he says Carla's still throws him off. I told him idk what cheri's itinerary looks like, but I'm gunna guess its similar to Carla's, so yes you'll get to spend time with you new friends haha. He doesn't know much about Mike, but he's already stoked about meeting Chris (the fellow video gamer/family guy lover! He's a nerd and I promise hes not a cereal killer haha! ) haha

So when we left off, we were leaving Tomorrowland to head over to Frontierland. And where did we go first?

Nope, whatever you are thinking, you’re wrong! Because we didn’t leave Tomorrowland just yet.
Sorry, I lied when I said we headed to Frontierland….not just yet. We had to satisfy our growling tummies! (I guess my memory is not so good)

I don’t know why I don’t have any pictures of this meal on photobucket (I’m sure I would not have skipped these when posting them last year, so I am guessing we just didn’t take any)
We ate at Cosmic Ray’s. I think we split this meal b/c we knew we had a big dinner coming up. We got the grilled chicken sandwich with fries, some coke, and triple chocolate cake for dessert—that was a chocolate overload but it gave us some energy!
NOW we headed over to Frontierland.

We walked over and when we realized the wait time was only 10 minutes, we opted to get FP for BTMR and come back to ride. All of a sudden it seemed really foggy/smoky around us, and we were trying to figure out what was going on. It was pretty crowded in the vicinity too, so I decided I would go by myself to BTMR and get Fastpasses (had a picture of these but it's not on my photobucket yet). The ride was down due to some type of malfunction I believe (could be the cause of the smoke? ), but we were told we could use our FP any time after the first time listed, once the ride was up.

When I returned, I could not find Mike where I left him. I looked and called out his name over and over. I tried calling his cell phone and he did not answer.

This is the reason he did not answer.

He was taking pictures of ME while all frantic and calling his name!

He got a good laugh out of that….and a big kick in the you know what!

I was mad for a second, and got over it real quick once we went on Splash.
I don't think the pictures came out very good in here (must be why I don't have them on photobucket yet)

Told you it was another terribly rednecked picture! We are in the back seat. I really need to hone my rednecking skills! Any tips would be well-appreciated!
