A trip to WDW w/NO kids? Hubba Hubba! Wink Wink! UPDATE: EXTRA, EXTRA!!! Pg 158

Yay for updates! And yay my vote was one of the right ones! :yay:

We are getting out checks today for our taxes. *Does the happy dance*

Then, we're going back to the Disney store (we we're there last night).

I'm getting the same Lime Green tink shirt you got!!! :yay:

Darn! I was wrong :headache:

That first picture I think is the guy that is holding the rope that is tying up all the "fair maidens". Am I right?

I don't know. That's why I asked. :rotfl2: I have no idea what Mike was taking a picture of :confused3 But I'll bet you are right.

The part with the dog holding the keys is me and Chris' favorite part of the ride too :thumbsup2

That's my fav. part,...you can't steal it. :rotfl:

Just kidding. That's probably a LOT of people's favorite part

I must say that BTMRR is not one of my favorite rides at MK either. Definitely not worth the time to wait around for it anyways if there's a long line. I actually had never ridden it until this past March :rolleyes1

Wow, that's funny. It seems to have a long line most of the time, and what makes it worse is there in nothing in the queue that is entertaining. One thing about Splash Mountain is, if there's a long wait, at least the queue has lots of interesting things. It's so cute!

:lmao: about Monsters Inc catching Mike off guard. That is TOO funny!!! I always get nervous and think they're gonna put the spot light on me. I can just imagine what his face was like when they put the spot light on him. :lmao: :lmao: :lmao: That stinks that your joke didn't get picked again. Chris' got picked. I was surprised because it was kind of corny.

I've waited this long for udates, I suppose I can wait a little while longer. Walmart needs to hurry up and send you your hard drive!!!!!!

Oh I don't mind the spotlight one bit! I think it's hilarious whether it's me or someone else. I wanted them to talk to me during the show but I was never that lucky. Every time they would pick someone who was shy and didn't know what to say, I would be saying to myself what I thought they should say. It's frustrating when they pick people who don't want anything to do with it--when I am sitting there smiling with a look that says "PICK ME, PICK ME!" :rotfl:

I learned after 2 shows that they purposefully pick the corny jokes. I have a couple of them ready in my phone already. Every time I read/hear one worthy of Laugh Floor, I put it into my text message drafts. :goodvibes

aw thanks!

yeah, same here! I think maybe Carla has it though

cool! And cool!

So you must go through a tax service that gives you your check upfront.

I'm pretty sure that's the part it is at. You'll have to pay attention to that part this year and see if it matches up with that picture.

:rotfl: well fine then! Be that way!!

Yes, that cue was boring. Kind of like the cue for the Jungle Cruise. I hate waiting in that line.

I could totally see you about to jump out of your seat at Monsters Inc wanting to yell at them to pick you :hyper:  Maybe if you look shy and like you don't want to be picked they'll pick you in September. One of the times Chris and I went in there they picked a girl that didn't even speak English.

okay I will try (but I will probably forget by then. I'll just trust ya on that!)

Hmmmm..maybe. I think I just needed to sit in the right spot, and I never found out where that was.
Yeah, I remember that! See, they just don't know how to pick out the cool people who want the spotlight! Those are the ones that will make the show the funniest and isn't that what they want? :confused3

In one of the showings, our "churro guy" was hilarious! They ended up using his joke in the audience joke segment, and they improvised "John P. from Pensacola {I'm making up a name}---Oh, it's the churro guy! You're the same John P?" The guy really played along and made it funny. I love that show!

I was a bit late, first time I ever did taxes, had all my house stuff to deal with on my taxes, so I just went to Jackson -Hewitt. They were very through and did a great job!

Glad the banana mans working. He's one of my favs besides this guy ---> :yay:

I want to see if I'm right so I'll probably remember  I'm curious now!

yeah, maybe there are certain spots :confused3 I tried to figure that out last year too but it seemed to me like there's spot lights everywhere. I think it's just random. You would think they would want to make sure to pick the people that will make the show the funniest. Silly Disney.

:rotfl: that sounds really funny about the churro guy. mmmmmm churros....i need MK pop corn too

Ashley, what is the "kiss goodnight" ? I just read something to that effect in LeeLee2U's TR and I didn't understand what she meant. Please enlighten me if you can.

I've never seen it either, but read about it on one of the "best kept secrets" threads.

If your in the park about 30 minutes after closing, a song plays and the castle and the main street buildings have lights shone on them that change colors.

Go to youtube and type in Magic Kingdom Goodnight Kiss or something to that effect, and people have video taped it.

30 min AFTER? wow

And does Disney call it "The Kiss Goodnight" ? When I heard that term I thought it would be a firework that looks like a kiss or something :confused3 :rotfl:

Yeah 30 mins after. Threw me for a loop too. I had to go check it out on youtube.

well thanks for the info. I can't get on youtube at work but I'll be goin' home soon. I may have seen something like that before and just not realized what it was.

Wow it's been a long day

oh BTW your siggie is getting cut off (the Expo earning counter) so you might want to take our some of the blank lines and that should fix it right up! BTW again, why does it say $0 out of $1480? I thought you've earned a ton through Expo already

hmmm that sounds REALLY cool! But how on earth do you get to stay 30 min after closing w/o getting kicked out? The only way I've been able to be in MK after park closing is by booking a late ADR. I guess you would have to time it so that you get out of dinner before the goodnight kiss thing. hmmmmmmm :scratchin

Loved the update. I really like POTC. I think my kiddos are bored by it, but too bad for them. I love me some Jack. Even if he is just a robot Jack.

That's funny about Mike at the Laugh Floor. Was he being a party pooper??:headache:
