sorry, the others that are coming on the trip are trying to figure out their transportation to Disney since 2 live here(my Mom and sister) and 2 live in Destin (friends) and one of the Destin folks just REFUSES to fly. And she doesn't drive, either. She got in an accident when she was learning as a teenager, and has NEVER driven since. I know that must have been terrible, but I just couldn't see myself going through life without learning to drive---I hate to depend on other people for ANYTHING. I just don't know how she does it!
She wants my mom and sister to drive to Destin the night of the 12th, sleep there, and continue on the next morning (the 4 of them obviously) to Disney.
*Actually she thought all of us would, but Mike and I are spoiled now and will only fly*![]()

If we all went by car we'd have to rent a vehicle big enough for all 6 of us, which is just another expense anyway.
My mom is a nervous driver, and doesn't have a great sense of direction so I guess that's where the concern comes into play. She would much rather fly with us, and they should be able to afford it just fine---so the question is, will our friend's daughter (the 4th person) be willing to drive in the 5 or 6 hours it takes to get to Disney?
OR will my Mom and sister have to meet them so they can all ride into Disney together the next morning?
Oh, and my mom's friend thinks that my Dad is going to get mad that my mom is going, even though he hasn't made a complaint---just said it was "too soon" for him.
Sorry, that turned into a much longer explanation than I set out for it to be!
But...no, you can't vote twice. Umm...your kids can vote![]()
Okay, I get it. So how long would it take your mom to get to Destin? I'm with you -- I think I'd rather fly. We did the driving thing last year and I don't think I'd do it again unless I really HAD to.
Why would your dad get mad at your mom? For not taking him? Well, if he doesn't wanna go, it's his loss, right?

My kids say Hall of Presidents (Kyleigh) and PhilharMagic (Shane).
