A trip to WDW w/NO kids? Hubba Hubba! Wink Wink! UPDATE: EXTRA, EXTRA!!! Pg 158

Oh TM & DD...you're such jokers! Enough "clowning" around. I gotta bolt out of here but I can't go straight home. Gotta go to the chiroquacker. I can't wait til I'm released and can get the settlement all through with and not have to worry about it anymore! (and hopefully the pain never ever ever comes back. The accident was in March btw)

See ya when I get back!

Hey Cheri.

I thought of your grandma today as I ate at Bob Evans with my son.

They had put a bunch of little jelly packets on my table for my toast and I slipped like 3 apple butter ons into my purse for my DH.....His favorite....:rotfl2:

Not as funny a bacon, but had to share:thumbsup2

I hope you start to feel better soon, too.

Excuuuuuuuse me??? I think LOVE is such a strong word. Maybe you can kinda like him but he's MINE!

Love is not a strong word for him, he's awesome! My DH knows I would kick him to the curb for Rob Thomas :lmao:. Just kidding. I have to go read your update now.

I started my pre-trip report.

When I got home from work today, it was POURING. I found the TINIEST frog I've ever ever seen in my life sitting under the carport. I thought it was a bug at first and then I noticed it was jumping...looked closer and realized it was a frog! I picked him up and he was about 1/2 the size of a pea...maybe a 1/3 of the size. Mike came home while I was still holding him, and he wasn't quite as enthused as I was. He just said "Go wash your hands." LOL
I still think it was the coolest thing ever. Has anyone ever seen a frog that small?

I think I will start one. I'll have to back track on when the planning started and try to remember everything that has happened between April (when we decided to go) and now. That should be a fun task. it will at least keep me busy on those not so busy moments at work. I'll give you the link to it after I start :thumbsup2

We will be at the world from Sept 13th to Sept 22nd. We were gonna be be there the 14th through the 21st but we extended it by 2 nights since this trip is for our birthdays. We're sooo excited! :woohoo:

btw, I have 4 doggies myself and they are my babies as well. They are just like children

I do have a schedule for the parks so far. I will put it on my trip report so tha way it won't seem like I'm trying to take over yours. ;)

that's awesome that ya'll are flying. I wish I could convince my DH to fly but he's still afraid. He's getting better though. He's been up with my Uncle in my Dad's private airplane a few times and he loves it. I'm still working on him. Baby steps.

I'm glad I found you as well :cool1: You seem very nice yourself and it's very fun reading a trip report from a young married woman like myself with no kids. Disney is for us too :woohoo:

It's a big park, but who knows? There's a chance we could run into each other. Maybe we could "run into" eachother @ Tower of Terror and ride together. My DH doesn't like that ride or Rock 'n Rollercoaster but I've heard that one will be down the time we're gonna be there.

**swoon** I love love love Dane Cook. We can definitely share him. I'm sure he'd love that! haha :lmao:

You should def. post pics of your dogs on your TR.

OH I LOVE TOT!!!! And I LOVE Rock'n' Roller Coaster....don't worry, it won't be down. http://www.disboards.com/showthread.php?t=1526457&page=6
It never was confirmed, only speculated on different sites. There's no way they can do that only 45 days out. I'm not going to worry. Sub to that thread I posted. If any changes happen it will end up getting posted there.

hehehe that's pretty funny! My plan is working---to get DISers to think of me on a regular basis (hehehehe) Actually, the real plan is to get y'all to think of me when you're at WDW...every time you eat breakfast...and get that slight urge to pocket some bacon. :lmao:

We'll Be good;)

Thanks, I've been feeling better, just been waiting to be released. Although it did flare up a bit this weekend after bathing the dogs. Now I have a good excuse for Mike to do it from now on!

:rotfl2: :rotfl: too funny! I don't think I'll be going to court, but my, my you sure put a funny image in my head!

That frog sounds awesome. Your DH's reaction to it sounds like something my DH would say :lmao:

I absolutely love TOT as well but I will probably skip it if I don't have anyone to ride it with :confused3 It's not nearly as fun if you don't have someone to ride with. As well as RRC. thanks for that thread link. I'm glad to hear it won't be down while we're there!! :cool1: Maybe I can somehow magically convince my DH to get on. Any sneaky tricky ideas??

And they are quite cute!

Hmm...what can you do to convince him..

Umm...has he ridden it before? If he hasn't, tell him that there's much more to it besides the drop, and that he really needs to see it once.
If he HAS ridden it before, say, "What's wrong with you ya big baby, you SCARED?" Or...."Look, there are 5 year olds in line...you pansy" LOL Surely that will convince him to man up and go!

awww, sweet! too funny! Welcome to my report!

Lovin' your PTR! I'm still reading, but if your still lookin' for kids to borrow...I've got a couple sweeties! :goodvibes

Hi, welcome to my report! Glad you found me! Oh your kids are precious! (and the doggies too) I'll enter them into the drawing. ;)

Hey everyone! I see it's been quiet around here! Looks like I have a little catching up to do on some other reports though.

As soon as I get home from work tomorrow, I'm heading out to Florida(FWB) for the weekend to visit some friends of the family. ( I think I had mentioned this trip previously...but my goodness August sure got here fast!). I am very excited! Mike didn't get to go with us last time and this time he was able to get out of work. We'll be attending a 50th birthday party celebration for 2 people (twins), and it's going to be a big ole shindig---do people still use that word?:confused3 LOL

Anywho, I had to take care of some things tonight. One being laundry, and packing of course. Also, I am throwing a wedding shower for my cousin at the end of the month and had to finish writing up invitations. Then I realized I only had 37 cent stamps. Thankfully these actually have the amount printed on them (does it bug anyone else that they have stopped putting the amount on a lot of the stamps---and they keep changing the price so how does that make any sense?! Ok, there's my sidebar rant of the evening).
So, tomorrow morning I am going to have to wake up even earlier than intended so that I can go to the post office. Then I thought about the size of these invitations...and they are actually pretty small---and wondered if I could get away with 37 cent stamps----nahhhh, don't want to risk it.

So, after all of this packing (I overpack for EVERYTHING), I got to thinking how it's going to be REALLY hard to pack for Disney. I like to have lots of options as far as clothing and shoes go, and in the past we've always driven so it didn't matter how many items of luggage it took. hehehehe :rotfl2:
I am pretty set on using our limit of 4 pieces of luggage, and having one whole suitcase full of toiletries...and possibly shoes. I usually just bring a few flip flops and 1 pair of tennis shoes, but this year we're going to pleasure Island and I want just one cute pair of heels with me(I'm short, remember?) --not to mention they make my calves look good. Maybe I will take a picture of the ones I want to bring and see what everyone thinks. It just might not be practical...might have to stick with the flip flops and have "not so sexy" calves. It will be a mystery til then!

I have some good news! I made Mike find (it was closer than I thought) the camera transfer piece and he transferred some pictures from the camera now. I told him I needed it emptied for this trip (which is true, but I also really wanted to be able to post some pictures that we had on there for y'all)

Up next...some pictures of us...oh the shame of it! (read CourtneyandRyan's TR...you'll know what I mean. Some people....:confused3 hehe)

And I'm sad to say you'll have to wait for those pics...cuz I'm leaving tomorrow! I will be DISing a little bit while I'm away. But won't have my own computer with the pics. The good news is I'll have more pics and a POSSIBLE mini TR when I get back!!

Goodnight to all! Have a fantabulastic weekend! :goodvibes

NEXT:Caricature from last trip!

Aww...you didn't think I'd leave y'all hanging with NO pics, did you?

Well here's a couple of me in a Mercedes the last time we went to Florida. This was a mighty fine car...

I told my mom I felt like Paris Hilton, except without the crashing part. :rotfl2:
She said I need to blow it up and add a caption "That's Hot"

Well, that's enough for tonight. I am going to get NO sleep tonight. I think it's off to Starbucks in the morning before I hit the post office. I have to be into work at 7 (takes me 15 min) and I have to make sure I'm not forgetting any last minute things, put my bags by the door, read off a check list for Mike (he ALWAYS forgets), call our friend to remind him of what to do for the dogs, and go to the post office. YUCK! Pfft! Phfewy!

Nitey nite DISers!

Have a great time!!! That's funny about the Paris Hilton comment.

Can you believe how fast time is FLYING!?!?!?

Have fun on your trip. The 37 cents would never have worked. They don't have the postage printed on the stamps now because they are called the "Forever Stamps" so they will be good 10 years from now even if the price increases! So buy up now! ;)

I did this for you...

oh thanks!! LOL :lmao:

Oh I feel stupid about the stamps. I didn't know that was why they didn't have the amounts on them!! I don't mail anything by snail mail unless I absolutely have to (ie. Invitations) so I guess I didn't pay good enough attention to the "forever stamps" deal. I pay all my bills online, and I love that immediate confirmation. I wish I could just email invitations....maybe one day that will become a trend, but I'm sure for now it is labeled as "tacky".

These stamps I had actually had the 37 cents price on them...so I had to put 2 penny stamps on each one of them (what a pain!) I didn't want to waste the stamps.

So...I ended up waking up a little later than I wanted to... but I still got everything done, made it to the post office, and made it to work in the nick of time. Thankfully I take my showers at night....I'd never wake up in time in the AM. Never been a morning person-----Except when at Disney!!!!!!!!!!! :cloud9:

I hope Mike got his bag packed. I took care of the toiletries, but told him he has to worry about his clothes. I just have to check his bag and make sure he packed a black shirt like I told him to. (for the 50th birthday party)

I'm sure I'm not the only woman who has to check behind her husband. Right? What in the WORLD would they do without us?

I text messaged him a few minutes ago to find out if he packed his bag. He replied with: "X" Can anyone interpret for me? It could mean no. Or he probably meant to change it to a Y, meaning Yes. I'm used to interpreting his texts, but this one is a doozy! When he sends something about his "truck" he ends up saying "usual" which is the same key stroke. LOL

That's hot!!!

You look good with a Porsche!!!
