Nope. I'll be halfway there (which means 5 hours away). We talked about doing a family trip next year, and driving there to get Ms. Linda and Britney (the people we are going to see)...staying the night, and finishing the drive in the morning. It might happen....I'm not sure yet but it would be awesome!

I have one for you now, too! I took a few minutes last night after I posted to upload a couple more things to photobucket so that I'd have something to share today! I'm so sneaky!

And finally I have another Disney pic for all of you to lay eyes on. Last year, we stayed at the ASMu resort, and on our laid back night there was a guy doing caricatures!! I really wanted to have one done. My sister got one, and so did her friend who was with us. They were just so cute! I had to put my name on the list. As I waited I had to decide whether I wanted color or not--and color costs more. Well, I not only decided I wanted color, I decided I wanted Mike in the picture too! He was reluctant, but after watching the artist work for a little bit, he said he was in. This thing cost WAY too much, but at least we will have it as a unique souvenir from our trip.

So...without further adieu....Ladies and Gentlemen....I present....

Mike and Cheri cartoon style!

We told the artist to be creative, we just wanted something cute. I prefer letting the artist decide in these situations. We could tell he REALLY enjoyed doing this one. We got to talk to him throughout the session, and he was a really cool guy. Incidentally, I can't think of his name right now but it will probably come to me.

So, who can tell what's going on in this picture? A special prize goes to the first correct answer!

Also do you think it looks like me, because I don't. Mike's is definitely dead-on.

My poor DH has to do al his own packing!!! ALL the time. Even when he's going in the hospital. Of course on those unexpected times he gets admitted, I will get his stuff, but he usually has a small bag packed just in case.

Hey everyone!

So, after all of this packing (I overpack for EVERYTHING), I got to thinking how it's going to be REALLY hard to pack for Disney. I like to have lots of options as far as clothing and shoes go, and in the past we've always driven so it didn't matter how many items of luggage it took. hehehehe
I am pretty set on using our limit of 4 pieces of luggage, and having one whole suitcase full of toiletries...and possibly shoes. I usually just bring a few flip flops and 1 pair of tennis shoes, but this year we're going to pleasure Island and I want just one cute pair of heels with me(I'm short, remember?) --not to mention they make my calves look good. Maybe I will take a picture of the ones I want to bring and see what everyone thinks. It just might not be practical...might have to stick with the flip flops and have "not so sexy" calves. It will be a mystery til then!

I'm having the same delima with the heels. I want to pack a pair of great heels to feel and look nice in but I feel like walking around DTD in them will kill me before we get to Pleasure Island. Oh well, pain is beauty, right?

I'll probably over pack for disney myself. But, we're driving so it doesn't matter. I just have to leave room for goodies that we bring back from Disney.
