can't see it but I see that it says SpaceshipEarth so I'm assuming it's the cool giant golf ball....I just don't know if it has the Mickey hand on it or not in that pic...:confused3

Isn't this the one that's gonna be closed? So sad :(

Money, money, money! :woohoo:

I just cashed out for another $25.00 Disney Gift Card at SR!! When I first joined I thought “well I guess I can try to make $25.00 before my trip” and never did I think I’d be bringing $125.00 in Disney money on my trip!

We’re having issues with the postal service, though, and I’m pretty ticked off about that. For some reason we haven’t gotten mail in 3 days! I am waiting for my other 2 gift cards to arrive…and I’m very anxious! :hyper:

I spoke with my Dad last night, and I asked him about “stories” from past trips that I could tell. (I already told him about DISboards….and he actually DOESN’T think I’m crazy) I told him all the ones I had written about, and that I know there are probably more things, especially in the past, but I can’t think of them. First he said “well, we didn’t bring any old people last year, that’s the problem.” :rotfl2: He thought of something from a long time ago---he told me that once upon a time…when I “wasn’t around,” he and my uncle (mom’s brother who was 16 at the time) were riding golf carts around WDW property. Well, my Uncle was a daredevil, and enjoyed trying to ride up the “slanted walls”--as my Dad described them. As he was doing this over and over, he ended up crashing the cart and dinged it all up. Dad said that the next year the price of renting the carts went up from 15.00 to about 50.00! LOL (not sure how accurate those amounts are but that’s what he said)

I can rustle some more stories up in the coming weeks (only just over 2 weeks left!)….stay tuned for those!

In the meantime, I am getting a little anxious, and starting to worry about having all my ducks in a row for this trip. I have a shopping list, which I probably need to get working on this weekend, and a to-do list, which I ALSO need to get started on. But I am worried I may be leaving some things out that I really need to be thinking about.
Okay, some questions:
1. I added my flight info to my reservation through Disneyworld.com. I already received my ME passes before I booked the flight. I just wondered if there’s anything else I need to do to be sure our ME ride is scheduled?
2. How do I access my printable flight tickets? (I ordered through Priceline.com) Will they send me something through email? (sorry, I’m a doofus and not experienced at flying)
3. I guess I should call to verify my reservation? Should I call the resort itself? (I’m assuming this would be a good idea)
4. Is there anything else I need to be doing to assure my vacation runs smoothly?

thanks for y'alls help in advance!

Funny Story..Love it:rotfl2:
You go..You are doing a great job at SR!!

I got 20 dollars for our last trip and right now I am at about 4 dollars and 15 cents..what are you joining to get all that money??

as far as your list..I would STRONGLY suggest you call disneyworld directly...reservartion center I mean...and make sure they have your flight info..Disneyworld.com is not reliable and is always messed up...SO, just to be on safe side, definiltey call:thumbsup2

I have never used Priceline.

But, I have used southwest and we had paper tickets... we got confirmation email from southwest..

24 hrs before our flight, we went to southwest, checked in with our confirmation letter and then up popped paper boarding passes...You need to print those out and taken them to the airport.

So, if it is paperless, check your email....

:rres lol

btw, i just realized that you, me and Cheri will all be in WDW @ the same time!! How cool is that!? :goodvibes :thumbsup2 Too bad Sharky won't be there :sad2:

No, not yet, but I hope to. DH wants to go to Universal Studios/IOA. Maybe I'll let him get what he wants just this once. Can't always be the evil witch of a wife that I usually am.

Well, I guess, no, not every year. This will be #2 this year. Stupid RnRoller Coaster was closed last time I was there, too. I probably shouldn't be doing that right now anyway, but I never listen to what I'm told. I would looooove to be able to go every year.

Hey we should all get together and buy DVC!!! Then we could all go every year!! Run amok in the world!!!
