Great update cheri! yay! You went to the haunted mansion!!! You forgot to say what you thought about the changes they made to the ride. So, what'd you think? We couldn't get a picture at all by the herse last year so consider yourself lucky that you at least got one of yourself by it I'm hoping they do the photopass picture with it this year @ MNSSHP. Apparently they super impose the ghosts in with you. They didn't do it last year since it had just been renovated.

The HM is hubby's favorite ride and a must do first for us each and every trip.

Excellent! I like it too. My grandpa used to pick on people and scream like a little girl. The HM holds my mom's dream job. She wants to be the greeter that takes you to the stretch room and tells you to drag your bodies away from the walls..... my moms not weird at all....

So we are just getting to the room for our rest, and we see something on the bed…what could it be?

Sidenote: I forgot to take a picture of the tip envelope we had left for the maid when we left in the morning. In it I had written, “Hi, we’re a young couple from Louisiana celebrating 1 year of marriage, and just want you to know how excited we are to celebrate here and stay at the All Star Sports Resort!” or something along those lines.
(Ok, so we were 2 months early, but if we went the week of Thanksgiving, it would be SO crowded! And we wouldn’t have free dining. Sue me.)

It’s funny, but only because we don’t have sound on our video feature so you can only see my lips moving, very quickly, than I turn away. It looks like I’m fast-forwarded. I’ll spare you this. Although you might get a good laugh. If I get a request for it maybe I will post it.

and OMG I laughed out loud at the video. There's no telling what you are saying but it looks like you are being a little devious!! Maybe you're saying something like "the pattern on the ceiling makes a mickey head" or "I think I'm ready for another drink" or "I'm having such a great time here in WDW" heck, I don't know. Maybe you're even saying "Mike, put that camera down and pay me some attention!"

Shame on me for not mentioning this VERY important part of the day:

Tat2ddisneymom and I had been texting that morning to see how our first days were going. She had said she wasn't feeling well, so Mike had a great idea (Yes, MIKE!) to leave her something special. On our way back to the room, we found her room (she had given me her room # the day before) and strategically placed a special LGMH on her door.

As a reminder of what these looked like:

I used one that had nothing on the back, and wrote a little get well message to her. (Gosh, I really slacked on taking pics of these special things last year!) I think we ended up placing it in the KTTW card slot. We couldn't figure out another way

Anyway, she mentioned finding this in her report , and if she were here she would scold me for forgetting. (Although I do seem to remember, she originally forgot, too )
