Thanks, I wear those big sunglasses more-so to block the sunlight than as a fashion statement. I have VERY sensitive eyes. If I can scan in some pictures of me when I was 4 or 5 at DisneyWorld you will be able to see my little red sunglasses. When I'm not wearing them, I'm all squinty-eyed! (I'll try to remember to get those next time I visit my mom)

Thanks!! I'm very excited about the flights. I was happy getting to WDW by 2:00 last year, but this year our plane lands 2 hours earlier than last year!

Last update, I left you with a cliffhanger--we wanted to see just one more thing before we left Magic Kingdom for the afternoon. What was it?




drumroll please!

The Haunted Mansion!! It had only just opened a couple days before with the new updates, and I couldn't bear waiting any longer to see it!

Here's me by the hearse. There was quite the crowd for this attraction, so I didn't get a chance to take a pic of Mike by the hearse. Maybe next time.

So like I said, there was a line for this, and we waited a maximum of 20 minutes. That wasn't so bad, especially considering that was the longest we'd waited the whole DAY!

I loved the updates they made! I'm SO glad they didn't take anything AWAY from the ride. The additions were great...especially the staircases!

On the way down Main Street, we ran into these guys:

They weren't playing, but Mike had to have a picture

On the way out, we got to look at a lot of the Halloween party decorations.

If he'd just give me the camera every once in a while, he wouldn't need self-portraits!

At this point in the story, I have some disappointing news. Today we got our first photopass picture....HOWEVER, I messed up and didn't retrieve our pictures in time (what was I THINKING?) so I don't have ANY of them. I think we had taken about 20 during the whole trip, and some of the photographers (as you'll see to come) used our camera to take pics as well. I vow that this won't happen this year, and I also intend on taking a LOT of photopass pics!

What's done is done. So back to the regularly scheduled programming...

We left just before the afternoon parade would start--we were glad because it was pretty warm out and we had a yummy dinner to get ready for, then EMH hours were this night!

We took the bus back to our room and found....



Well that's all the time I have tonight so you'll find out tomorrow! (maybe )

Sorry this update was so short, and not too many pics. I figured better a small one than nothing at all!

Great update cheri! yay! You went to the haunted mansion!!! You forgot to say what you thought about the changes they made to the ride. So, what'd you think? We couldn't get a picture at all by the herse last year so consider yourself lucky that you at least got one of yourself by it I'm hoping they do the photopass picture with it this year @ MNSSHP. Apparently they super impose the ghosts in with you. They didn't do it last year since it had just been renovated.

Yeah, the movie freaked him out. I said baby, It's nothing like the movie, and he just won't believe me.

Yay! Dianna will ride with me... cause I love the ride, but I don't like riding by myself... that does creep me out a bit.

We can send DF and DH over to the wonderfully hard shooting gallery. Or maybe DH can talk DF into riding with him hahah!

Yeah, Chris is pretty persuasive. I'm sure he'll at least attempt to get him on the ride. I used to be scared of the ride when I was little but now I love it!!

Excellent! I like it too. My grandpa used to pick on people and scream like a little girl. The HM holds my mom's dream job. She wants to be the greeter that takes you to the stretch room and tells you to drag your bodies away from the walls..... my moms not weird at all....

Actually that sounds like a fun one! And I love how at MNSSHP they put on makeup and really ham it up!
