A trip full of surprises.. Good News! 6/16

Welcome Back Amy! Thanks so much for catching up! You are a small group following along, but very loyal!:thumbsup2 I'm so happy you had a great time with Caitlin! I can't believe you had snow!

After seeing the fake dream team women, I could think of nothing else!:rotfl:

I will try to post the rest of day 3 tonight! My pics. are taking FOREVER TO LOAD!:confused3

Thanks again!;)

On to Bibbidi Boppity Boutique..............

After we exit the AK we go to the bus stop area. This was going to be our only day planned for Downtown Disney so I wanted to get some shopping in before our 4:30 appts. We took the first bus that pulled up, it was to POFQ. Not to bad but, we had to go back to Blizzard Beach again first!:headache: But thank goodness this bus driver had a little more spunk then the women driver this morning and completed our trip in a timely manner:rotfl: I think the Disney gods felt bad that I was duped by the fake "dream team":lmao: So, we hop off the bus @ POFQ (gorgeous property by the way!) and a DTD bus pulled right up!:cool1: We hopped on and arrived by 2:20. Yes, plenty of time for shopping. The boys Disney Dollars were burning holes in their pockets. We split up, Bryan took Matthew and I took Eric! Eric had his money spent in 25 minutes! I found a few things too! My knee was really starting to bother me so I convinced Eric to get some snacks and drinks and find some shade to sit and relax!:cool2: About 4:00 Bryan and Matthew meet back up with us and we go to BBB. We check in and wait. Here is a picture of the boys waiting........

We get buzzed and Eric got called first. The Fairy Godmother made a big fuss over the fact that his name was Eric like "Prince Eric" (not the 1st or the last time this happened". Here is a pic. of Eric on his "throne".......

Then Matthew was called, and here he is on his throne...

IMG_1178.jpg

It was funny because I expected them to be the only boys there but there were 2 others there too! Considering they only cost $10 each they do spend quite a bit of time on the boys! They got to choose from 4 different colors and what kind of confetti they wanted too! Here are the results!........

Eric's

Matthew's

Don't they look great!

When we were finished everyone made a fuss and the boys got really embarrased! The Fairygodmather told us that the glitter/paint needed 20-30 minutes to thoroughly dry, and that the color will stain! Great!

We left BBB and made our way out of DTD to the bus stops. We needed to get on a bus to an Epcot resort for our 7:10 ADR @ Marrakesh. Luckily one came rather quickly. Once we got on the bus a couple that was riding with us kept staring at the boys but not saying anything:rolleyes: So finally after about 5 mins. the man says "uhh, what's in their hair?" So I explain it to him and he says nothing!:confused3 In the mean time Eric falls asleep and remember now the gel/paint stuff still isn't dry yet so I have his head leterally in my hands because I don't want to stain mine or his clothes!:scared: So then the women says "Why are you holding him like that?" Excuse Me?:confused3 Is that your business? So I explain about the staining thing and she says "If it's gonna stain his clothes it will probably stain their hair!" OK lady, you and me outside now!:lmao: Bryan immediately puts his hand on my lap cause he knows what I'm thinking in my head is not suitable for public listening audiences:eek: .:rotfl2: At that precise moment we pulled up to the Yacht Club and got off the bus! We make our way around to the International Gateway and the CM at the entrance was from our hometown!:thumbsup2 It was really neat talking with her and it definitely was nice to have a PLEASANT conversation!;) We picked up a stroller and off we went. We went to Morocco to see if we could get in early but first we ran into this guy...........

after this very macho pose we went to eat!

Coming up next, another surprise revealed and our dinner with Illuminations afterwards!!

Love it!! We were family of the hour at AK too. We were able to play the mammoth race game and they gave each of our kids a stuffed animal and the certificate. My boys felt so cool!

I can't wait to hear more from your recent trip. Your kids are adorable. I wish they had a BBB for adults.:goodvibes ..Or am I the only one who thinks that?:lmao:

I can't believe the things people say...in reference to the couple on the bus that is. The boys look great and I would have been holding Eric head away from any clothing also. The picture with Aladdin is adorable. Can't wait to hear what the next surprise is!!!

Hey thanks for following along! The boys were very excited to have their own car and we all got to sit in the front row together! Definitely a special Disney moment!:wizard:

Thanks! No you are not the only adult that wants BBB! It's funny you mentioned that because when we were there I was thinking the same thing!;)

That woman definitely wasn't feeling the "Disney Magic" what happened to "If you don't have anything nice to say, don't say anything at all?" Sheesh!:rotfl: We didn't let her damper our spirit though! Thanks for catching up and following along with us!:thumbsup2

End of day 3........

So after our picture with Aladdin we head to Restaurant Marrakesh. I was very nervous about eating here. I looked at the menu over on allears.net and saw that there were a few things that I might like, but I was worried about how spicy the spices would be and how hot the stuff would be. I like my salsa and wings mild so needless to say I was unsure:confused3 Well, I have to tell you that physically this restaurant is gorgeous! I really felt like I was in Morocco! Not that I was ever in the real Morocco!:rotfl: Here is a pic. of the inside..........

IMG_1199.jpg

The food was absolutely DELICIOUS, I couldn't believe how worried I was for nothing! I had the chicken kabobs with this yummy salad that had awesome feta cheese in it! (thanks for the heads up Amy:thumbsup2 ) Bryan had the lamb which he said was incredible! Another I noticed and this might sound silly but ALL the women that worked there were stunningly beautiful not just the belly dancer:rotfl2: The boys got a kick out of her! Here is a pic. she is in the background. Sorry I know it's not the best pic............

IMG_1196.jpg

After we finished dinner but before dessert we told the boys we had a surprise for them:woohoo: I told them that they were going to get to go on a very special pirate cruise with other children and they were going to get to search for hidden treasure!pirate: They were sooo excited! Here is a pic. of their faces as we told them............

IMG_1193.jpg

There excitement was priceless!:goodvibes

You know this ended up being our 2nd favorite restaurant of the week! So for all you nervous ones out there, GO FOR IT! I am not one for weird, spicy, etc. but I loved it!:thumbsup2

After dinner we walked around World Showcase for a little while and saw this huge group gathered around the American Pavilion. Bryan said he thought it was probably for one of the Flower and Garden Festival Concerts and I agreed and we kept walking. Well about 2 steps later I hear a young girl scream "there she is". So I turned around and asked one of the girls in front of us who everyone was waiting for and she said "Oh, the cast of Hannah Montana is here!" Now for htose of you that aren't familiar she is huge with girls and boys ages 4-12 right now. Hannah Montana is played by Billy Ray Cyrus' daughter Mylie. My boys aren't really into her but I was so excited that I called my 10 year old niece and shared the experience with her! Here are 2 pics. of her, the 1st one isn't as good as the 2nd...

IMG_1201.jpg

She is the one in the short white skirt behind the guy with the off white shirt on.

IMG_1202.jpg

It was so cute because all the little kids were screaming! Next we went to stake out a place for Illuminations. We found a spot across from Italy right next to a handicap only area. We had a great view. Here is a pic. of me and the boys waiting for it to start............

IMG_1203.jpg

I went over to get a frozen margarita! YUM! and Bryan stayed with the boys. The boys were being so silly. There was a CM from the Japanese Pavilion watching the handicap area and she was laughing at the boys being silly. Well once they knew they had an audience the silliness escalated. It started to get crowded and I told the boys to sit in the stroller and they did. I was unprepared for how at the last minute tons of people close in on you:scared1: This man was clearly in my personal space:crowded: and he didn't smell like roses if you know what I mean!:sad2: Well the man took at least 60 pictures while Illuminations was going on. I was not feeling well after that episode:sick: We really enjoyed Illuminations otherwise though! We then began our walk to the Epcot entrance and from reading the DIS I was prepared for very long waits at the bus stop. Well we got very lucky again and 2 buses for POP were waiting, we did have to run to get on the second one though and my leg was KILLING ME:headache: I told Bryan if I were a horse they would put me down!:rotfl2: So we make it back to POP and refill our mugs with frozen cokes again:thumbsup2 then it was lights out!

Coming up, a GREAT DAY...........

Great installments! I loved the boys' BBB hair--they looked like our pal, Bloody Head Pete from the Pirate Tutorial. :rotfl: I'm glad they have something available for boys, too. It would be unfair for little girls to have all the fun.

I'm so glad you liked Restaurant Marakesh! That feta was great, wasn't it? And I'm quite the feta coneisseur. ;)

Sounds like a wonderful day and you had really good luck with buses!

Can't wait to read more, my friend.

I am loving your TR, I am all caught up now. Your boys are gorgeous!!!! Their smiles sure light the place up.
Sorry about your knee bothering you, I am hoping by the time we go in Dec. Reese will be past her knee injury to the point that it won't bother her.
I can't wait to read more. The pirate tutorial looked like major fun. Thanks for posting all the pictures too.

It was funny when we went to Epcot from DTD and got off the bus at Yacht Club I was chuckling to myself when we passed the Dolphin and I saw the lattice on the windows!:rotfl2: Bryan was like "What's so funny?" I said aw honey it's a DIS Boards thing!:thumbsup2

Hey, when I had trouble getting my report moved from the pre-trip board to the regular board, I just pm'd the mods for this board and they moved it very quickly. They rock!
