Finally got through... first cast member was not very friendly.. don’t blame her too much tho I’m sure it’s been crazy for them. She just checked quickly and went nope nothing available. I kindly pushed until I got her to transfer me to a manager and boy did things change! He took all my confirmation numbers for my modified dining and he’s gonna reach out to each restaurant to see what they can do. He said he’ll call me tomorrow. He told me some restaurants have a list of extra times for overflow reasons. So here’s hoping! He told

I tried on 12/1 for H&V and 12/4 for Plaza and they could not get me either. I was on hold for over 5 1/2 hours before I got answered last night.Disney Dining call queue seemed to be closed this morning due to extremely high call volumes stemming from "operational updates and offers". Tried a few minutes ago (~7:10 am) to see if I could get my 12/1 H&V lunch and my 12/3 plaza restaurant lunch back.
Basically all my dining for my Christmas/New Years week trip was cancelled although I booked at the 60 day mark but edited them for better times earlier this week. I had hard to get places like CRT, Cali Grill, BOG, etc. With no where to eat, I’m thinking about cancelling the entire trip.
Had a similar thing happen with chef Mickey’sI modified existing reservations by 5 minutes!! 5 MINUTES...and lost them both....including a dinner at LTT on our last day in MK....
but I received 2 $25 so that makes it all better, right???

But by moving it that 5 minutes, you gave up your original (safe) reservation. So by moving it to a glitch reservation, someone else took your original (which then also got cancelled since it was booked by them during the glitch). Your original most likely would have been available again once they released the ADRs again, but was probably scooped up by one of the thousands of people impacted by this.I modified existing reservations by 5 minutes!! 5 MINUTES...and lost them both....including a dinner at LTT on our last day in MK....

Call this morning and demand them back I did and they “magically” fit me back in. I just spoke with a cast member about the ADRs I had modified that morning. She talked to her technical folks to get answers about what was happening with modified reservations since it wasn’t in the information that they had been provided with.
After talking with those folks, she said that it was a good sign that my reservations had not been cancelled yet as the cancellations have already started rolling out. She was able to modify one of the four reservations I had modified back to it’s original time because there was availability in the system. The other three she wasn’t able to help with but she said that because they hadn’t been cancelled yet and I hadn’t been contacted about them being cancelled that there was a chance they wouldn’t be.
She indicated that she had another person call today that had one of their reservations canceled (one they had added) and one they had modified that morning which was not cancelled- so maybe that’s a good sign that modified reservations won’t necessarily be cancelled.
She said there was still very limited information out there so there is still a chance that my reservations will be cancelled and that I should keep an eye on my account.
Also as an FYI, she said that there is another glitch in the system that is making it seem as if no reservation times are available for certain weeks. I think she also said that they weren’t allowing any new reservations for the upcoming week - but I may have misunderstood her. She also said that this upcoming week was the most affected by the glitch and they were reaching out and calling folks whose reservations were being cancelled and offering them gift cards.
She did say they were not doing any restorations (pulling back reservations that had been cancelled or changed). They are only able to utilize existing availability, which is reflected on the app due to the occupancy limitations.
Hopefully this information is helpful to some of you. The cast member’s best advice was to just be patient and keep checking. I know she was trying her best to be as helpful as she could be under the circumstances. She was incredibly kind and thoughtful despite having to relay difficult news.
