A Thank you post card from DCL

On our Wonder cruise in March, I asked for stationary and wrote a letter commenting on the wonderful service we were receiving. We gave the letter to Guest Services.

Yesterday we received a "Thank you for your compliments " post card. It made us feel that they did read and take to heart the things we wrote.

In the past, I had only mentioned names on the survey DCL provided, the letter got a better response.

I always bring paper with me and add a letter attached to the guest comment card. Not everyone time, but several times we also have received a post card acknowledging my letter and thanking me for the nice comments about staff and crew.

This is one of those good ideas I never would have come up with on my own. I thought the comment card was kind of a waste of time because it doesn't really have room to acknowledge the particular crew members who went especially above and beyond.
