Also an "I hate" board for all the people who hate this or that politician, christians, gay people, etc.

Also a "vent" board where people can complain about how much others annoy them and how much better they are.

I don't remember the debate board, but if it was, why did it disappear? And, puleeeeze bring it back.

I think putting the games on another board would be a great idea.

I agree with Ducklite. I have noticed more games threads lately. I was really pleased when I amongst many others requested a sub-board for restaurant reviews - its great! Other boards have separate games forums and they seem to work ok.

I personally would like all the gift exchanges, games and billion-posts-long-secret-club threads on their own little subforum. But, that's just me. I like the community discussion aspect of the community board but I have to look hard to find them! Most are secret-club chatting and exchanges or games.

I agree that they have been getting out of hand. Hopefully somebody see that what may have not been an issue worth doing somehting about then, has changed and is now worth attention.

Frankly I don't see the attraction with them anyway. Especially in the ones where you respond to the post above there is no way to be sure yours will be the next response.

lol-that's what I was thinking.

I love the community boards, but I am not into the most popular TV shows, and I rarely play the games. As one poster said, you respond, but so do other folks at the same time.

I like the sub-forum idea.

Maybe into a little 'Community Board FUN' sub-forum.

I know that others probably see it differently, but I see the CB as being a place to ask for opinions/vent/WWYD/etc. (which is why I think that they - opinions/vents/etc. - don't need to have little sub-forums... what would be left of the CB if they did?!).

I've seen days when those threads take up most of the first page. Maybe this is proving how lazy I am but I don't like going to page 2 to find "real" posts. I'm glad people are enjoying those threads---that's what makes this board a community but they're multiplying like rabbits. I'll toss in my vote to create a sub-forum.

ITA. Especially since it seems like the same "secret club" has 5 or 6 threads going on at the same time.

I agree with Ducklite. The games are annoying. Having to go to page 3 or something to find a thread that interests me.
