I love those pics Pam! Sorry I've been MIA; it's been a bit crazy.

With respect to Star Tours, I saw that the goodbye party was like Sept. 8 but the official closing date hasn't been announced. We are going to make a point to do it on the 25th so that Joe can get a fix before it goes away.

I hope you have a great shower this weekend. Take lots of pics!! Are you going to share the bachelorette details with us?

Yeah, Ann read it somewhere too. I bummed that it will most likely not be open.
And thanks, I can't wait til sunday. As for the bachelorette party. I'm still unsure of that.

Don't worry, you're not missing much with Honey I Shrunk the Audience. The 3D quality is very poor and we didn't think it was particularly funny/entertaining. The pre-show is basically a commercial for Kodak that's downright painful.
Don't know about when Star Tours is closing, but I hope you get to ride it-- we love it! Yay for your shower coming up!!

Ok, so first off, I went out with my friend Brittany this morning and bought a very pretty dress for the shower this weekend. I'm so excited. I'll take a pic of it and post it tomorrow though. I have to get ready for work as soon as I put up our May 13, 2009 Disney day!!

Ok, so we I remember we slept in a little. Them, not me! I was up trying to make as much noise as I could to get them up though as I layed out their clothes and ran down to fill up our mugs. (I am going to be so happy being able to fill up the mugs before we go to bed, put them in the fridge and then have a cold drink in the morning.)

We made our way over to AK and had a wonderful day. We met up with a few disers. We got through Camp Minnie Mickey and saw all of the characters, we went on a safari, ate at Pizzafari, saw Its tough to be a bug, went to Rafiki's planet watch and then headed over to Dinoland for EMH. We did Dinosaur, primeval whirl, tricera tops spin. and then EE
When we got back to the hotel we got some ice cream and sat by the pool. There was music playing and it was my favorite night of the trip.

I have many pictures from this day, it's hard to pic some, but i'll try.

AND!!! NEVER BEFORE SEEN FOOTAGE!! No, really it is. I did not post any video in my TR, this is the first time i'm uploading them!!! I'll post one from today, even though I had a few. This video makes me cry to this day. This was our first magical Disney experience! I will NEVER forget it. Emily had just bought a chip and dale and we were in line to see chip and dale, her favorites!!!

It's another boring, I don't feel like doing anything type day at work.....ugh!! I know, I know, that seems like everyday, doesn't it????

Oh, I love that picture too. Oh, yes, that right was a NIGHTMARE!!! We've been watching it on youtube lately though right on our TV (through our blueray player, so it's full screen) and i've been gettin kind of excited about riding it this year.

I remember being tired on this morning. I guess it was all finally catching up to us. We still got up and were excited to go, and once we were up we were fine. But it was at this point where my body was like " what on earth are you doing to me"

So we were up for Hollywood studios this morning 1 year ago. We went down to the food court and had a BIG breakfast! All 6 of us ordered a breakfast. Well, with the breakfast, we should have only ordered 3 and all split. There was a ridiculous amount of food. But it was nice!

We got on the bus and went to DHS! Touringplans told me to avoid this park because fantasmic was only showing twice that week and said it would be too crowded. But I wanted to see fantasmic so on we went. That is the last time i'll go against their advise. It was much more crowded than any other park that week. But we carried on. We went straight for Toy Story Mania, in which we waited an hour for. and then stood in line for an hour to see Buzz and Woody right across the st. Ok, next we went to see lights motor action. We all LOVED this show! It was great! We then went to eat lunch at Pizza planet. When we got out of their the crowds were worse and it was the HOTTEST day. We decided we'd go back to the hotel and come back in a few hours when it wasn't too hot. We went back and swam for about 2 hours, when the rain and thunder started. That was the end of our DHS day. It never stopped raining. And for all of us there that week, you know I mean HEAVY rains, not poncho rain. So we really can't wait to get back there. We hung out and relaxed for the rest of the night. Anthony put on a puppet show for an hour and we ended up going to eat lunch at the foodcourt and hung out in the arcade for a while!

Are you planning on decorating the window at the resort? I was going to when we were staying at ASMu, but is Riverside too "upscale" for that?

Ya know Ann, I didn't decorate last year, but I think I might this year, especially with the MNSSHP going on. I was thinking about making my decorations a little Halloweeny. Just a little, cause it is early. But I don't think it matters what resort you decorate at. I think disers do it everywhere.

I am enjoying reading about last year's trip.

I read yesterday September 8. They are even having a party to "celebrate" late august. So, it will be closed by the time we get there.
