Do most people use LT transfers for retitling?

I think we may end up doing this down the line and ive heard most people saying they used LT so we will go with them too, the board steered me right with Mason and Fidelity

Would be good if we could get a list going of title companies and the fees so others can see how the prices vary.

LT Transfers is my go to. They are reasonable, and they do good work.

I am in the process with LT now. They appear busy as they told me that it will be a few weeks. I would rather pay more and know its not going to be messed up then try and find a bargain, with all the positive reviews here and I know they have experience with DVC specifically we went with them. Got lucky too, they raised their fees on Nov 1 and we started just before then so got in before the price increase. Wasnt a huge amount but across 4 contracts would have been noticeable. Ill chime in with how it goes once we are done.

Sorry off topic but my partner and I originally bought DVC as single man/woman with rights of survivorship, we are now married. In order to make sure there's no hitches and have it be part of our original membership how should we title it now with our last contract?

I believe the deeds I see for married couples state "wife and husband" rather than a "single man and single woman, as joint tenants with right of survivorship."

Honestly create a trust before retitling and just do that That's what I am going to do after seeing the probate process for property with the death of a relative this past summer. So much cleaner, especially with FL if you plan on passing to your children one day.

Ours are all titled joint owners with right of survivorship.
