Poor sweetheart! with poison ivy each time you get it it gets worse...just luckily it did not get into her airway and mouth with it on her face...
that really is sad that her teacher did not have her call home! did she even ask Lizzie about it or how she was feeling?!?
my mom is severly allergic and one year for Christmas she had it in her mouth, nose and throat...she had to go to the dr to recieve an inj every morning for the swelling...she eventually recieved an inj (like people with allergies get) and she still gets it but much less severe (but, each time she get it its worse than the time before
Hope she feels better soon!
I know, that's why I was so mad. What if it had gotten a lot worse and she sat in school for all of those hours. Lizzie has never been one to say anything about being sick, unless it's really bad, so she probably wouldn't have said anything at all even if she couldn't breathe well.

OH, poor Lizzie! I've never had it, so I don't know how itchy it can be...at least she felt ok, though. Yes, I hate it when the school doesn't call for things. Maybe some parents wouldn't care, but you are I are very involved with our kids and I want to be called for everything!!!
That's the first time something happened like that and they didn't call me. Not sure what made them think this was ok

We are staying at CSR now!We will just have to wait and see how things line up as we get closer to our trips. They will be here soon!!
I have started to pick up things here and there too. I really like that it helps to spread things out. Of course, I need to make a master shopping list so I can keep track of what I have gotten versus what we still need.
I feel horrible I missed saying Happy Mother's Day to all my DIS friends but I did not end up getting online at all yesterday. Just too busy!I hope you had a great day! I think it is sweet your girls are excited about Mother's Day.
:
I am so excited for you for your wedding!! I know it is overwhelming (I remember being there) but it will all fall into place! Hang in there, Pam.![]()
My DD had those flip flops!!The girls look so young!
Poor thing! I hope Lizzie is feeling better and the rash is gone.
Lizzie is doing good. Her face looks much better tonight. I loved those flip flops too, I gotta get them more from the Disney store before our trip.
Your Disney shower sounds like so much fun! What a fun way to bring some magic to your waiting.
I agree with everyone else that all the wedding stuff will get finished! It seems like you are on top of things so I'm sure it will all work out.
I love that you are incorporating a mini TR into your PTR! What a great way to commemorate your last trip and think about what you're looking forward to most in your upcoming trip! So clever!
Poor Lizzie! I bet she's just miserable.I would definately let the school know that you want to know about things like this! I used to teach (before I started homeschooling) and I know there are some teachers who just don't get it. There are also, believe it or not, some parents who just don't want to hear it. I had a dad tell me once that he doesn't call me on the weekend to tell me about his kid and he doesn't expect me to call him during the school day!
I politely told him that while I am a teacher Monday through Friday from 7 to 4 he is a dad ALL THE TIME. So sad that parents have to be reminded of that. Anyway, I'm certainly not defending them not calling but putting it into perspective. Let them know that you are a parent who wants to know! (Although this late in the school year you'd think the teacher would have figured this out.
) At any rate I hope she feels better soon!
Oh, I know of some parents that don't really care either! My kids have been at that school since the beginning of their school career and all of the teachers know me well, i'm always there volunteering.
Austin has Poison Ivy too!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Oh No!!!! I hope the poor little guy is all right. Lizzie's face looks even better tonight than it did this morning.
