We ate dinner at Pizza Planet (in my opinion the only CS location worth going to at DHS)

Theres a hidden mickey in this painting

Later on, we walked down to Mara in our PJs for some hot chocolate!! We saw in the activity sheet they were doing night vision over the savannah so we grabbed the camera before heading down. This was so much fun! The woman there was so nice she was holding an ostrich egg and answering questions...I love the AKL!

This is where Jill is eating on Sunday. She said she just wanted to eat at Toy Story Pizza Planet and see Fantasmic, so that's her plan.

Nice finding the Hidden Mickey. We have the one in the leaves crawling up the outside trellis at AKL. We're alway happy to see new ones.

What a life - walking out your door right into that awesome lobby and strolling in your PJs to get hot chocolate. That's surely a nice way to start a day.

I loved the night viewing at AKL!

We want to do that someday!

I only have about 10 pins, and at first, I didn't think the night vision scope would work with my camera, but I guess I was wrong

first thing' first: WALL-E is AMAZING!!!! I love that movie. That is my all time, favorite movie. Next, basically every night I think, they do this thing at AKL where you can use this night vision scope, its like a single binocular, to look at the animals. I just put the scope up to my lens.

first thing' first: WALL-E is AMAZING!!!! I love that movie. That is my all time, favorite movie. Next, basically every night I think, they do this thing at AKL where you can use this night vision scope, its like a single binocular, to look at the animals. I just put the scope up to my lens.

We went to the night vision but it was the night before Fay was supposed to hit and they had taken all of the animals somewhere else. Bummer not to see the animals but it was still cool looking through the binoculars. I'll have to rent Wall-E!

I'm glad you were able to find David at Fantasmic! That would have been terrible if you were stranded with the snacks and sodas and David was stranded without!

We put the nightvision scope over the lens Wall-E is awesome, I don't know how it appeals to kids of a young age because to appreciate its message and lack of vocals, you need to be older

Hey guys, just checking in -- I was hoping to do another update tonight, but instead I got some terrible news. One of my best friends who is in NY was in a bad accident. To make a long story short, she hit her head, and has had multiple seizures in the hospital and has complete memory loss. She gained consciousness and apparently she saw my name in her phone and felt compelled to call me. So i spoke to her, but she didn't know who I was, she didn't even know her own dog, so needless to say it's very disheartening.

I'm going back to disney for a few days for MNSSHP as a celebration for my birthday which is tomorrow. It's hard to imagine celebrating in a time like this, but I also know I can't do much but wait. Please send your prayers. I'd love to do another update before I go on Wed. So I might tomorrow night.

That's probably much the same way Jill felt Saturday night when we called her from Vanderbilt about Drew. She couldn't get to sleep until she knew everything, and at the time the prognosis was really bad. We couldn't keep our phones on, and she was going nuts.

I'm sure your friend is in good hands. We'll keep her in our thoughts and prayers, and you do the same for Drew. His turned out to get much better than expected, and maybe hers will, too.

Have a safe trip tomorrow, and I will look forward to hopefully hearing that you have met up with my girls very soon! They are having a good time, and tonight is MNSSHP, so if the weather treats them right, they have a fun night in store!
