A Simple Guide to Making an Autograph Book

I recently found some really gorgeous Halloween princess images on Fanpop.

Edit 7-13-12 I took out these pictures and links because I don't want anyobe thinking they are autograph cards. They are beautiful images so if you want to see them for their artistic merit only, go to Fanpop and search for "Disney princess Halloween."

Hi, Can I please have this design with the name Bridget and the year 2012. thanks

Here you go :goodvibes:

I am planning my son's first trip and ran across this thread about autograph books. I am hooked!! Has anyone ever uploaded pictures to Shutterfly, selected as 5x7 and them cropped to make white border around it. Does this give you enough room to take to office supply store to get spiral binding put on?

I want to be able to cut the holes out when we get back to put the autographs with my son's picture in his scrapbook.

Can I also get a cover with Noah's Autograph Book 2012 Walt Disney World

Thanks for helping the newbie!

You can upload them to Shutterfly and they will bind them for you, or you can get them as prints and have them bound. You don't necessarily need to leave a border if you are doing them as prints, because the binding takes up less than 1/2". Here is your cover (I have a Noah, too) :goodvibes:

I am very new to all this! I love the pics that DoNatalie posted on her photo bucket site I think in album 1. Plain white background with an outline and the character pic in the corner. Is there a way that I could get one of Flynn and Rapunzel and Merida? I didn't know if the artists update the photo albums or not. Thanks!

Revwog1974 gave you the correct link - Evan has Merida on there now in Natalie's style as well. :goodvibes

I recently found some really gorgeous Halloween princess images on Fanpop.

I'm thinking a more talented designer could turn these into autograph cards. Unfortunately, the artist has only done Jasmine, Snow White, Tiana, Rapunzel, Mulan, and Belle: no Cinderella or Sleeping Beauty.

They are definitely cool looking, but I couldn't possibly steal the designs to use for autograph cards. Give me a few days and I will make some princess cards for you (I'm trying to figure out how to get them in costume). :goodvibes

Sorry, I thought the things on Fanpop were like things on this group, available for use and not copy written as long as they were not used for sale. There are images out there of princesses in the costumes of their villains but maybe they're not free to be used either?

Thank you very much.

Thank you for the Noah cover! I love it!

Another printing question...sorry...I want to print the autograph cards as pictures and then take them to the office store to bind. I want to make sure I am able to cut the binding off and have the whole picture to put in my scrapbook. Will this work if I print off the autograph page as is as a 4x6 picture? I want to avoid cutting gluing to card stock.

Thanks again for all of your help and advice!

We love your designs! We made autograph books over a year ago and need to update with Merida. I saw you have 2 gorgeous designs for Merida, but my (daughter's) question is this.... is it possible to get a design with her shooting an arrow?

Thanks,
Andrea

glaciermouse- I saved the sig page to a word document. Went to google images and saved a pic I liked of Merida. Just place the pic of Merida over the one on the original card. Select both pics and right click. Select Group and group them together. Then they will move as a unit if you need to do any other updating. Our turned out great!

MusicMouse - Can you make this design and say "Maddie's Autograph Book Walt Disney World 2012"? THANK YOU!!

I don't even remember how I came to this site now, but I was researching how to make your own Disney scrapbook! I love all the wonderful ideas here!

Can I request to have covers made or do you need to do something special to request that? We will be going to Disneyland at the end of September with our 4 kids for the first time with all of them! Our youngest 2 have never been and our 3rd oldest was 1 the last time we went.

If I can just request...

Thanks for all the great ideas!!!

Okay, I went a little overboard, but here are the Fab 6 for Halloween :goodvibes:

And here I thought I was about done messing with my 3 autograph books! Love these and have already sent them off to Snapfish! I've got one book in Natalies Vol 3 style. Would it be possible to do some Halloween ones in the Vol 3 as well? DD will be jealous if she doesn't have some too...

Hi! Ok, I'm about to start working on autograph books for our upcoming trip! I know there is a Disneyworld Character list at the beginning of this thread from 2009 - but is there a more updated one that that? Last one I made was 2009 and I think this is the list I used - but I wondered if someone had a list that was more up to date or should I stick with that one!??

If you look at the last edited note on the post, you'll see that it is kept updated so it is pretty up to date!

Does anyone have list of characters you could see at the Halloween Party and get autographs from? I want to make a book for just the party. (Hopefully that will be easier to carry around!)

If someone makes Halloween covers, could I get one that has Noah and 2012 on it? (Not picky on the design, I know you are all so creative. It will look great!)

Thanks!

Hi MusicMouse,
Can you please personalize a cover for me that says "Dining with our Friends"
and the year. I saw the Mickey Mouse one that he looks like he's eating a hotdog w/ the plate behind him... If this cant be done then any will do.

I really appreciate it! TYSM!

After seeing my stack of autograph cards this far (that aren't all finished I'm sure!) for our 2 week trip in Dec my back is already hurting looking at the weight hahaha.

I plan on using the clipboard idea and only taking the ones we need for the day. I'm just "nervous" we won't have someone and will run out of generics! Not to mention some of the meals like say AH or 1900 PF where they might be these ones or they might be those!! Argh wish it would just be SIMPLE :) plus at Christmas, we will have Christmas parties and how many times will we get to see the same characters in different places? Oh my head just hurts thinking about it :)

Hi Everyone. I just subscribed to this thread. I am going to WDW beginning of August. Very excited. My DD4 was never into autographs previously, but now she is. My DS2 is not, so I will just be making her one and he'll get one next time we go. Can I get a cover for my daughter Leanne for character dining as well as a regular one? Not sure if I want to do 8x8 or the 5x7 with card stock. She loves the basic characters and the Princesses. Also I was browsing the thread (so many pages) and I didn't see anything for Garden Grove Character dining at the WDW Swan. Our character meals this time are Breakfast: 1900 Park Fare, Hollywood & Vine, and Ohana. Our character dinners are Akerhaus, Chef Mickey's, Garden Grove. My kids love those character meals.

Thank you everyone for such great designs.

What you want to do is actually very easy. In order to bind them, they punch a row of tiny holes and then they thread a plastic coated spiral wire through them. The wire can be unwound and then you have your loose pictures for scrapbooking later. :goodvibes

I'm sorry. I don't have the clipart for that. :goodvibes

Could you make an autograph cover with the name Jeremy? Thank you so much for your time.

Here you go. I left out the WDW part because the print got REALLY small. If you want me to put it back in, I can. :goodvibes
