A Relaxing Holiday! Day 11 and 12

Up and got the usual coffee, just to get the day started.
Turned on the Television to listen to the weather programme, they forecast the weather to be the same as yesterday, so we hit the pool early.
The forcast of rain did not happen and it was extremely hot . we stayed at the pool all day and left around 5:00 to get ready to go to IOA.

Got into the park shortly after 6 oclock. Rode the Hulk, DW still had not plucked up the courage to go on it yet, but she promised she would before we left. Next was Storm Force, then onto DWs favourite, Spiderman, we rode this about 3 times maybe 4.
Decided we would eat in Confiscos but when we went over it was closed ,they shut at 8:00pm, DD wanted to go on Caro-suessell

then One fish, after that we said she could go on the Train ride, it was about 9:00 pm and as we where walking through Suess , people on up all started running ,I looked to see what was happening , and it was like a someone had a hose on and it was coming toward us, we ran for cover at Circus Mcgurkus, rain was torrential. Decided to buy some Ponchos, and it was time to get something to eat.When the rain started easing off, we headed out of the park and decided to go into NBA Café, expected to wait for a table ,but got one right away. Both DW and myself both had the Cop with mash and vegetables, and the meal was really nice and good value, cannot remember what we had for desert.
We then went over to the Lone Palm, but was quite a queue, so we went back and had drinks in the Orchid Court before bed . had a lovely relaxing day today, just like all the other days, taking our time and not rushing trying to do everything at the parks.

Another lovely day. Orchid Lounge was really nice. All the orchids were really pretty. I, unfortunately, eventually kill any orchid that enters our house.

At the pool quite early today, think we where all down by 9:15. Was extremely hot even this early in the morning.

We are planning to go to US this afternoon.

Have Nachos at lunchtime between me and DWand DD has chicken strips, at the Bula Grill., then about 2:00 decide to go to the park.

Got the boat to CW and had Captain Bobby, kids loved him, sings popeye and gets the kids to blow the whistle of the boat.
Dw has a look around Fresh Garbage [think that’s its name] but to my relief decides not to buy anything.
We all head in to US, and DD wants on Jimmy Neutron, actually getting to like this ride, we come out and they are just letting people round to queue for Shrek , so we nip over and get in near the front of the line. I love getting beside people who have not been on it yet , find it better than the ride.

We then go to Twister, its not one I would go on all the time, and then we all get on ROTM, We all love this ride ,even DD who said she would never get on it again after last year.
We go in to Eartquake but they are still trying to get more people in, so decide to go on round the park and will do it some other time.
We decide to stop for some refreshments, cannot rember the name but think it was just passed the ROTM,they had Starbucks,so got one each and rested up for 20 mins
We then go to Jaws , we all really like this ride, and have been on it quite a few times now and never tire of it. And next was MIB, the loser has to buy the drinks at Dinner when we ride this and I always seem to win , DW and DD need to read up a bit on here, but then they might start beating me.

Starting to tire a bit with the heat, so start to go back to the Hotel , DD wants to go on ET so we get on it and then back for a rest and dinner.
We are going to Islands tonight ,as DW was not to well when me and DD went, had a lovely dinner there, and then go for a stroll to Citywalk ,

DD buys herself one of those balls on the elastic and DW buys some sweets. WE stop to listen to the group playing ,think they where called Ambertone, and where OK, getting quite late now, so walk back to the hotel and bed.

Class report again. I love watching people's reactions when they have not been on the ride before. Jaws entertained us a lot this year though we did discover if you had FOTL you invariably ended up in row 7 that meant you got water on you from the exploding barrel in the boat shed!

We didn't know you could get wet on this ride even after all the other trips till we had FOTL. We didn't mind though in the soaring heat. On the last day, after we had checked out of the hotel, we did ask to be sat in the 8th row as again we were directed to row 7, just didn't want to be wet for the journey home.

wicket.... alexandnessa & phamton informed us of the "new" feature in the boathouse (the "chumbucket") earlier in the year....when we went, I just always requested "front of the boat" and told them i was willing to wait if i had to ...worked like a charm!
