Thank-you Sheila. Last night I found availability for vwl for 8/24-28 and DH said no I even asked for a 3/3 split and another no. It does look amazing there! Can't promise if vwl becomes available all 6 nights I won't pull the trigger lol.

I'm glad you like it, my RC family opinions are very important (similar tastes). I don't want to feel like I'm at any condo you know?

We found it very quiet and relaxing, I can see what you mean it does have more of a non-Disney feel than the more themed resorts but you can park right there at your building, the bus service was excellent also. The Marina area and water launch to DTD was great but depending where your located it can be a distance to Olivia's and the Marina area. That is the only negative I have heard people complain about since the resort is very spread out.

That's my concern Sheila, but DH reminded me how much we LOVED SSR. I have that phobia of resorts with multiple bus stops I think I think I am going to request canal view and roll the dice The OKW thread is great as well! I am trying to hold strong

My DH and kids already are in love Thanks Kathy I really can't wait!! I miss Disneyworld SO much. I bought Bree a Cinderella ballet outfit perfect for the August heat and a comfy pair of sparkly shoes! Fastpass time and online check in next Monday. It's coming!!!

Thanks Sheila DH keeps telling me not to switch. And I give him that puzzled "what are you talking about look"..he says that he KNOWS I get the need to change something..so for now it's FP and ADRs, we changed CRT to our checkout day. I was getting nervous about getting up and out and to MK by 8:30am..I am NOT a rope drop gal

I can't wait to see OKW in person, it looks gorgeous in pics and videos!!!We made smores last night on the deck, and the kids said it feels like vacation

A near miss ch-ch-change to BLT, until the price went up almost$2500 But otherwise the Disney part is intact...we cancelled all TS meals except La Hacienda on 8/27 (with GrumpyGrandma) and CRT of course. My plan is to do breakfast and dinner in the villa. Whether it's take-out or an easy meal...and lunch and snacks will be at the parks. We have a list of CS likes/dislikes/must-dos....and in the summer heat it is all about hydration...FP doesn't have a lot of room for change as SDMT and A&E are all taken so we will stick with what we have! I did change 8/28-30...from Myrtle Beach to Jekyll Island, GA..Heather are you close to there??? My thought on that, shorter drive and a quiet beach for Labor Day weekend! DH loves the pictures, and it will be a good place to wind-down after Disney!

Now, we have PH so we will be back and forth, but here is our itinerary:

Day 1-DHS
Day 2- AK (with babyberger and family)-look out Disney
Day 3- MK...morning with the babyberger posse
Day 4- Epcot
Day 5- MK
Day 6- Epcot
Day 7-MK and check-out day

The 3 MK days really are for SDMT, we are utilizing the DAS for the first time which I hope will help prevent DS5 meltdowns in line...his public meltdowns get ugly. So we may not get to everything we want to, but the plan is to have a great time!!!

I have planned for CRT a coronation for Bree and Maddie and a chocolate crown to be presented to Handsome...Dad, DS13 and DD8 want to skip CRT for more pool time...

I AM SO EXCITED!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I got an email yesterday confirming our MBs, and my DS5 asked to have his name changed from Handsome to Brian (for those close to me you know this is HUGE news)

Open to more suggestions, critiques......

Oh I hope it's not your last trip. Maybe this one with the kids will snap him into it. Mark and I don't plan on next year because we were hoping to go to DL; that will all depend on the job situation.

I hope so, he's already saying when we get back we can start thinking about our Universal trip next year DL sounds SO cool!! Especially since we've never been. The flights to Cal. from NJ for 7 One day...... I hope hope hope there is a DL 2015 trip in your future!
