What do you prefer on guys short or long hair?

Short. The shorter the better. As you can see from DH's picture below, he rarely has hair longer than 1/2". I just think it is more attractive on a man. Long hair seems feminine to me.

I mUCH prefer a nice trim short haircut. When a guy has long hair all I think about is getting some scissors to whack it off!! I feel about long hair on guys the same as I do the ones that wear the pants hanging off their butt. YUCK!!

I'm surprised so far the answers are all short. I like a man that looks like a man - that is short-haired. It seems as though long is coming back into style however.

I also prefer clean-shaven even though that wasn't asked. Hubby tried the goatee thing and mustache and I didn't like either look and I did NOT like the feel at all.

I like it a little longer on younger guys and short on older guys. My middle DS has worn his almost buzzed for several years and this summer has let it grow and it looks great!! He has had so many people tell him how great it looks on him that I hope he keeps it a little longer.

I wanted to add that I only like hair a little longer and it must be super clean!!!

For me, I prefer short but if I fell in love with a guy with longer hair than that's fine too

I like hair just a little longer on men ~ down over the shirt collar. I don't like it long down the back, in a pony tail, etc. My DH keeps his short because he feels it "reflects a more professional appearance" but he had a long, blonde pony tail in high school so he got that out of his system young!
