I booked a package for our August trip online, when should I expect to get stuff from Disney?

when did you book? I would say it takes a couple of weeks

You should get a confermation letter within a few days. You will get a more extensive welome packet with information on your resort and maps of the parks anywhere from two week to a few days before you leave. You may also get a pamphlet from your "resort manager" with pictures and information on your resort about the same time frame.
