Hey everyone,

Thank you for your concern. I am feeling much better. I was pretty sick there for about two weeks and for some reason my photobucket wouldn't let me upload any photos. And where I was sick I just didn't feel like fighting with it. But that is finally fixed

I am so sorry I have been MIA recently, I am happy to be back. I am finishing up my update right now so it should be up in about an hour. I really appricate your caring and friendship

Day 2 - Part - 5

After The Jungle Cruise we still had about 30 minutes before our ADR at the Plaza but we were really tired and getting hungry by this point so we decided to check in to see if we could get in early. When we arrived we checked and the lady told us that they were running behind. Go figure we would be early and they would be behind but we decided to grab a table outside and wait. DH was so convinced that we were going to miss them calling our name that he went to wait closer to the restaurant not me I stayed in my happy little seat soaking up the atmosphere. Of course it was unnecessary that he went up there because I could hear every name that they called just fine but DH gets stressed easy sometimes. Here are some pics I snapped while we waited.

We waited about an hour and then we were called. I was surprised by how small The Plaza was. I know why the wait was so long. But it is truly beautiful inside, so inviting and so comfy. We got a table in the corner, we could see the whole restaurant. I wish that I had taken more pictures.

I love this menu…

This is for Lady Lallie and I thought that it was really beautiful.

We both ordered the steak and cheese sandwich with fires. It was really good. I think it was the best steak sandwich I have ever had.

We were both too stuffed for dessert. To my dismay we had missed Spectromagic , DH consoled me by saying that this was just our first Disney day and would be sure to work it in later during our trip. This appeased me so we were off to find a spot for Wishes.

Main Street was really crowded so we went toward Tomarrowland and discovered the Tomarrowland Terrace. DH decided we should watch Wishes from there. I have to say we did have a great almost completely unobstructed view but for our first time seeing Wishes I wish it had been on Main Street because it wasn’t dark enough there, the fireworks weren’t exactly over the castle and I couldn’t hear the soundtrack. But I enjoyed it all the same.

It was the almost perfect ending the almost perfect day!

Here are some pics that I took while leaving:

We headed out for the bus and it was absolute chaos on Main Street and waiting for the bus. It took us about almost two hours to get back to the resort.

We had planned to take a swim but we were both so beat that we just went to the food court for a refill on our mugs and looked around in the gift shop, then headed to bed.

Caught up...didn't even know that the Plaza was a sit down restaurant!!! Oh well! Wanted to agree that Tomorrowland isn't the best place to watch the fireworks due to all the lights. Although you do get the best view of Tink flying.

Thank you, I love the lights on the castle too. The pictures just don't do them justice. I found myself drawn to light fixtures, I was glad to get back and see that I was not the only one.

The Plaza is really good, it was one of my last min ADR's. We did get to see Tink, I wish that I had gotten a pic, I think that I was just so amazed that it escaped me.

I do!!!!! I can't wait to see the movie, just 3 more days! I am excited. DH and I are going to a midnight showing Thursday as he has to work all weekend.

DAY 2 - ANIMAL KINGDOM ~ PT 1

We got up around 7 and headed to breakfast around 8 we had breakfast once again at the resort. DH had biscuits and gravy with a side of bacon. He didn’t care for his breakfast very much. I am very picky about gravy so I passed and got the Chocolate chip pancakes with bacon. I loved my breakfast and so did DH. He said he wished that he had gotten them too. Today was another day that we seemed to wait forever on a bus in actuality we waited about 20 minutes, DH had a good idea to fill up our refillable mugs to have a cold drink what we were waiting. This was a really good idea and helped keep us from melting in the hot Florida sun. We got there right after rope drop and headed straight for Everest as this was one of the rides we were both extremely excited to ride. We walked right on. We both loved this ride. It quickly because one of our favorites and we grabbed a fast pass to come back later.

Next on the itinerary was Kilimanjaro Safari. On the way there I could feel a blister coming on but I thought that I would tough it out which probably not the best idea but I was on a Disney high. DeVine was out and we had to stop and watch her. She is so beautiful and graceful. What she dose is just amazing. I can hardly stand up on flat ground with nothing around for me to trip on and then I would trip on my own feet. So the fact that she dances basically so gracefully on stilts is amazing to me.

Yay! You are back! Isn't AK the best for taking pictures? There are so many great places and subjects to take photos of.
I agree, there must be more than one Devine. The one that we saw had a different face.
Ok, I have to admit that we ordered our Twilight tickets on Fandango! We are going on Friday at 7:30. Doing dinner out and then the movie! Can't wait!!! Go Team Edward!!
