A Pre-Trip Report by a 5 yo princess...The final countdown!!

I finally finished the scrapbooks!!! Yippee! I won't be doing two again though. I'm actually thinking about doing a digital scrapbook for August. Not sure though.

Have a great night!

Hope everyone had a great fathers day!!!

Well my luggage should be here Wednesday. So I guess I'll get to packing when that arrives. I also ordered from Garden Grocer today. Got the delivery time and day I wanted, so that was good.

Anyway, have a great night! Oh and this is my 1000th post!:cool1:

Hi everyone!

John & Susan congrats on the house! I know you'll be busy packing and moving! Have fun!

Kim - How are you? How are your boys? so far the kepra is doing well and we actually increase for the first time tomorrow.

How is everyone else? We are busy with summer activities. Aubrey starts a few classes at the local community college next week. She is taking a reading and a math class and then later in July she will take an art class.

My luggage should be here tomorrow. I hope the bright orange isn't too bold! LOL Oh well at least we should be able to spot it quickly! I'm working on my list of things to pack today. I placed an order already with Garden Grocer so that will help save some space in the suitcase.

Anyway, take care, I"m off to eat one of Aubrey's Mickey Pizzas! Oh and we have 59 days left!:cool1:

Oh Aubrey wanted to say Hi!

Hi everyone. Its almost time for Disney. Mommy ordered me the new Ariel dress and it is here. I really like it and can't wait to wear it to BBB and to eat dinner with Ariel. Mommy says we have to start packing things. I have to make sure I have all my toys and stuff. Bye!

Where is everyone?

Kim how did all the testing go for you guys? I hope all is well.

Well the luggage came in and I have gotten a few odd and end things together but nothing in actual suitcases yet. I think I have a fairly good list of things to pack so hopefully we won't forget anything we need.

Aubrey was practicing writing some sentences today. I made her try to figure out how to spell the words by sounding them out. Keep in mind she just finished kindergarten when you read these. Here is what she wrote today. We had a Disney theme for today's writing.. LOL

I mit see Goofe. (I might see Goofy.)
I mit see Minne. (I might see Minnie.)
I can eet wif Mike. (I can eat with Mickey.)

LOL, It is hanging on the fridge!

Well hope you all have a great night and weekend. I'll check in if I can.

We ending up having to cancel the EEG for Joey. Since I am keeping my nephew, I now have 3 little boys ages 10, 9, and 6 at the house. I tried to get my mother in law to watch the two youngers ones, but she had a meeting. I will have to schedule it with her so she can watch the two youngest ones.
I actually bought a new t-shirt for the trip, and put it away in the closet. It's green on green strip, but the strips are very small. I need to start buying a little bit at a time, so it's not too much at once.

To Aubrey: You did a great job on those sentences.

Just wanted to check in to see how your two cutie's are doing, and how packing is going. I made the last ADR that I am ever going to make for this trip today. On Monday I booked the Candlelight Processional for Saturday December 13th. We got dinner at Teppan Edo at 5:45 PM for the 8:15 PM show. We still don't know who the narrator will be. We had thought about just playing it by ear for lunch on our first day. However the OCD control freak just couldn't do that. I mean we are landing in MCO at 10:00 AM, and should be at the WL by 11:00 AM. We thought about getting a quick CS as soon as we got to DHS, but that would put us eating about noon, and who wants to try and find a table at a CS right at lunch time? It could be possible to get in at Whispering Canyon Cafe right after we check in, but I didn't want to take a chance that we could get a table. I called this morning and booked an ADR for 11:45 AM at the Whispering Canyon Cafe. Now the first meal that I will eat when I arrive at WDW is that "all you care to eat skillet.":cloud9:
The lady that I spoke to was so nice and so talkative that I practically had to hang up on her. She even said that she thought I had planned a good trip, and she could tell by my ADR's and there order that I had put a lot of time and thought into it. Anyway, I have to get the DH up in 3 1/2 hours, so I'm off to try and sleep and not worry about our last day that we have 0 ADR's booked for.

We are doing good. Aubrey is really enjoying going to camp at the local college. We had a playdate after camp today with her best friend at Chuck E Cheese. The girls had a blast and I wish you could have seen them doing the chicken dance with Chuck E! They got a lot of attention let me tell you!:rotfl2:

Anyway, I need to go print her school supply list for fall. I have to have it all purchased prior to leaving.

50 Days till we leave!

Our boys school district does this thing where the PTA of each elementary school sales the supplies for the next year at the end of the current year. It is easily $30+ cheaper. I couldn't buy it this year for John though, b/c they didn't know which school his b-mode class was going to be at next year. His district will have like 21 elementary school next year, and they all have a different supply list per grade. I wish they would just all have the same list for each grade.

I can prepurchase her supplies from the school, but some of the supplies weren't the greatest quality. I did that this past year. I'm going to see what her list is this year and see if I can get it myself. Otherwise, I'll just have to purchase the prepacked box and replace what I need to.

We can also buy the packages of supplies at the store at the end of summer, but they are more expensive than to prepurchase them. This last year I was going to not do the supply packages and just buy the supplies. They are so picky about the supplies, that I literally had a panic attack in the middle of the school supply area at Wal Mart. I just left and bought the package of supplies.

I can't wait to hear what Aubrey thought about the new Toy Story ride. Are you guys doing any of the special Christmas stuff like MVMCP or the Candlelight Processional?

We aren't doing MVMCP this year. The last one is on our first full day there and it just doesn't fit in well. I don't think my kids would sit for CP so not going to attempt it! LOL

I'll post our Dec ADR's later and let John and Susan fill in theirs as well.

Take care and I'll be back shortly I hope!

Ok so I finally made it back. LOL We took the kids to the park Saturday and had a blast. We had the place to ourselves. It was great. Here are a few pics...

Anyway, I managed to pull out some of the kids clothes and Aubrey's costumes etc that we will be taking. I'm going to try to get some of the carry on stuff together tomorrow, but I might not be able to get to it until Tuesday. I'm really worried about fitting everything. I didn't want to have to haul a lot on the plane or thru the airport, but with the new baggage rules I may not have a choice.

Oh and remember this???

Well, this is what it looks like now!!

Aubrey is getting so excited. She can't wait to ride BTMRR. Right now we should arrive at 1:40 so I have an ADR at 5:10 at 1900 PF. This is also an evening extra magic hour for MK so after dinner we are going to head over to MK. I'm going to go ahead and get the GAC and the tag for the stroller. This will allow us to go straight to the attractions on day two when we head to DHS. We'll catch a few rides before returning to the room to get some sleep. I'm hoping one of those will be BTMRR, Aubrey has not ridden it at night. So that is the beginning of it all.

Hope you all had a good weekend. I'll try to check in tomorrow!

Looks like you guys had a blast at the park. At the end of last week, I ended up with a small sinus infection. We moved my sister into her new apartment on Saturday, and woo hoo it rained while we did it. Joey was an amazing help, and John did a great job entertaining their dog in the bathroom. I then we back over afterwards to help her unpack most of their stuff. Moving in the rain made the sinus infection a little worse, but at least I don't have a full time job where I would have to be at work today. It was totally worth ever minute of moving her in the rain to have them 10 minutes from us instead of in New Orleans.
Now I just wish my countdown look more like yours.

LOL, thanks we did have a blast. I'm still coughing a little but nothing else. Guess I'll have to try to get to the Dr soon for some prednisone if it doesn't stop soon.

I like the look of the ticker too! LOL Still can't believe we are going twice!

Well I'm finally making it back. Hectic week here. We got the Disney planning DVD in and the kids have enjoyed watching that. Aubrey is getting so excited. This was her question to me yesterday morning...

"Can we go to Disney now?":rotfl:

I did manage to get quite a few things pulled aside and ready to be packed. I actually came on here yesterday to post our Dec ADR's but as I was typing them I noticed I had not planned in Dh's 2nd day of golf. Just a small problem...:scared:

So after all the changes that had to be made here is what we now have booked....I'll get John and Susan to come back and fill in theirs.

12/18 Arrival Day CM 5:25
12/19 John & Susan arrive! Meet them in Epcot. CR 5:45 this is actually our 10th anniversary so I have scheduled the diver and am working on the menu pictures.
12/20 Tony's Grand gathering experience bk, then over to Philharmagic! Spend the day together at MK!
12/21 DH will golf in the AM, at some point in time we will all meet up in AK as that is where John & Susan will be. 1900 PF 6:40
12/22 DH's last round of golf. I'll probably hang around do some laundry etc. We'll meet J&S for a kitchen sink later that afternoon!
12/23 BBB at 8:30 and 8:40 then over to CRT at 10:00 photoshoot afterwards and then explore MK some more.
12/24 Donalds BK 9:10 meet with J & S at MGM
12/25 Goofy's BK at Cape May Cafe 10:00 The rest of the day is open and then WCC at 6:30
12/26 MGM JoJo lunch 12:00 meet back up with J & S sadly we'll be saying goodbye to them tonight.
12/27 CP Bk 8:05 mk morning or possibly open
12/28 1900 PF BK 8:00 open day to play until we have to take the ME bus to the airport around 5 pm. BOO:sad1:

So anyway, there are a few changes I would like to make, but overall we are happy with what we have. I'll just keep calling to see if I can change WCC to 1900 PF for Xmas day.

Ok, now I need to get them over to update with their plans!

its not fair you get to go in HOT HUMID august:lmao: but it will be worth it.

LOL, remember when we booked this trip we weren't going in December yet. And since Aubrey is in school now, travel time is limited. But hey thanks for reminding me how hot it is going to be. Yeah you're a true friend!:rotfl2: :rotfl:

You know I tricked myself into thinking that once I made our ADR's that I would stop changing them around. Boy, was I wrong. Within 15 minutes of making the original ADR's I called back to switch 2 around. I have called back at least twice to add or change an ADR. At this point, I think I am going to give our ADR schedule to my DH to hide so I can't make any changes to it. Although at this point, I think I'm pretty happy with it. I was going to try and keep lunch open on the day we arrive and the day we leave. The OCD Disney Planner in me just couldn't leave them open, so I booked ADR's for them yesterday.
Maybe you'll get lucky and a freak cold front will hit Orlando the day you get there keeping it in the 80's without humidity.

WEll that is unlikely to happen, but here's hoping. I actually had everything perfect until I figured out I screwed up the golf! LOL Anyway, I'll keep trying! But if not, we are happy with what we have. Now if I could just get some more stuff in suitcases...
