A Pre-Trip Report by a 5 yo princess...The final countdown!!

Oh gosh, if dh had known DCI was anywhere near he would have wanted to go. sorry about that coach bag! I get to go to the gym this afternoon after I pick up Aubrey from camp. Wish me luck I can still walk later. LOL

This month they were not only in North Texas, but in Houston and San Antonio. In certain theatres, they have a thing called "Loud, Big and Live" on August 5. It will be the quarter finals. Let me know if you are interested and I can show you where to go to see if there is one in your area. My sons favorites are the Cavaliers.

I'm sure he would love to go, but I just don't think I can fit anything else into our schedules. LOL

The gym is going well. I didn't get to go yesterday because Aubrey had cheerleading after camp, but we are going today. Ashton is only doing so so in the kids club. I sure hope he gets use to it soon. LOL

Well I have to leave soon to get Aubrey and Ashton is making me type 1 handed so I'd better run for now!

I hope everyone is having a good Friday. Mine is going good, just busy. My m.i.l. called me last night, and said that she is picking up my DS's today. She is taking them and my nephew to her mom's house at the lake for a weekend of swimming and fishing. WOO HOO A weekend without kids!!

Wow lucky you! Just busy here as always. Aubrey has one more week of camp and then I'll be able to really bust a move on all the things I have left to do before we leave. No big plans here for the weekend. have a great time without the kiddos!

I am ready for a nice quiet weekend. Last night I went round and round with my 10 yr old about the Olympics. I found out that our Verizon Fios has an Olympics channel, which is perfect for me b/c I love the Olympics. My 10 yr old insists that the Olympics are not fair b/c only humans are in them and they leave out all the aliens. Then after spending 30 minutes on the phone, I finally found an eye doctor that can fit me in tomorrow. I need new contacts in a really bad way, and my glasses (that I hardly wear) are 5 years old. Does Aubrey just do cheerleader or does she do gymnastics as well?

It is mostly cheerleading, but they do part of the glass as gymnastics too. Usually incorporating cheer in there as well. She did gymnastics for a year and then they introduced cheerleading and she wanted to do that.

Hopefully everyone had a wonderful weekend. Our weekend was wonderful. My mother in law picked up all three little boys a little before 2 PM on Friday. I decided to take a nap, and my DH woke me up when he got home. We then took a nap together until we had to leave to go eat dinner and go see a movie. DH wanted to see the new Batman movie. It was really good. By far the best Batman movie. After the movie, we went to Steak and Shake and got milkshakes to drink on the way home. We then stayed up playing World of Warcraft until the about 4 AM. Then we had to be up at 9 AM to go to my eye doctor appointment. After getting new contacts we had BBQ for lunch, and then went back home for a nap. We slept until about 9 PM and started playing World of Warcraft again. Then at about 1 AM Sunday morning we started getting hungry, so we went to the Waffle House for waffles. The service was really bad. The two waitresses spent 99% of their time talking to this guy they called Bob, but his real name was Mike. DH and I referred to him as Bob-Mike later. Anyway so the waitress practically burnt our waffles b/c she forgot she put them on b/c she was talking to Bob-Mike. I did find out that chocolate chip waffles and Hi-C fruit punch is not a good mix. Then we went back home, played World of Warcraft until the sun started to come up. We slept until about 3 PM, and then started on DH's accounting homework. I picked up the DS's at about 5 PM. All in all it was a good weekend.
Oh and I forgot Thursday I sent my DS10 out to get the mail. He came running in yelling that Mickey had sent us mail. Disney finally sent us a notice telling us that our flights had been changed. It was such a joke. Then we got a third envelope that had our reservation information in it, but it failed to take out the amount we have already paid. I check on line and they have the right amount there.

Sounds like you guys had a great weekend. We were just busy cleaning etc. I'm not going to the gym today, my kids are wiped. Ashton slept thru lunch if that gives you any indication. He never misses a meal.

Anyway, after I get dinner going I might try to work on the carry ons. I want to try to put Aubrey's costumes in ziplocks and see if I can get some more room that way. If I have time I might even work on their suitcase. Again I want to use the ziplocks and see what I end up with. I'm hoping to even have a little extra room to put some of mine and dh's things in there if need be.

Well, need to get a move on. I'll post back with what I get accomplished.

Well I packed a few things in the travel space bags last night. Will see how that works out. I hung out at Target today while Aubrey was at camp and found some cute sandwich bags with the princesses on it and some princess ice packs. I will use it all for school lunches but I'm going to take the ice packs to disney with us as well.

I need to get some cleaning done, Aubrey has cheer this afternoon. Busy busy I tell you.

15 days to go!! I can't wait to hear what you guys think of the new Toy Story ride.
My mother in law called my yesterday and my father in law had been given a bunch of Disney glasses (mostly mugs) to give to me. My father in law repairs appliances and he was doing work for a woman that was moving. Her house was full of Disney stuff. As he worked on her applicance, they talked about how she loves Mickey and I love Mickey. Then as they were talking he noticed she started packing these glasses and mugs. When he went to leave she asked if I would like to have them. That she would rather someone that love Mickey have them than take the chance on them breaking in the move. It was so cute, my mother in law was going through them and telling me what they looked like. She came to one that had Donald and Daisy on it, and she said, "well this one has daffy, and mrs daffy duck."

I bought Ashton the cutest little backpack with Lightning and Mater on it today. I can't get him to pull it behind him, but he does love to push it in front though! LOL I think I will have some really cute pics at the airport with that backpack!

Ashton has figured out how to pull the backpack now, but he still likes to push it instead.

I got it for $99 at big lots and we love it. It will work out much better than having to deal with putting a weight on the other one and taking it off to fold it.

I also picked up a few more things to put in the suitcases. Now if I could just get things IN the suitcase.

So that is about it for now. We have a pretty busy week here, but I am hoping to get a few things done.

Not too bad here, just not a lot of sleep. Today was my mom's b-day. This was the first time in years that my sister was actually here for her b-day. They all came over to my house, after a night that no one in my house got any sleep. I'm almost as excited about your trip that I am about mine. I can't wait to hear what Aubrey thinks of the new Toy Story ride. (and for some good tips on how to beat the DH.)

Enjoy your trip as well. Well I'm suppose to be cleaning my house, but I've been printing pages to make Aubrey's autograph book instead.

We will for sure report back about TSM although I'm not sure if we will have any pointers. We aren't very good at the high score thing! LOL

Hi everybody! Well the suitcases are mostly packed, All the pages for the autograph book are printed and cut out. I still need to bind them together somehow though. Garden grocer just called to confirm my delivery on Friday!!! OMG we are almost at Disney!!!

On a side note, Aubrey had to have another blood draw yesterday. Just normal testing for the medicine she is on. Her Dr just called and said everything looks great and we don't have to do any increases for at least the next few months. Just monitor and let him know if we see more of the seizures (we still see a few here and there but they are very short) or if there are any changes! I'm so excited right now!!!

I'm glad that she is doing well on her meds. I spent the morning working on my planning book. I am not going to make the +400 page monster that I did last time. I am going to make a mini planning book for this trip, so that it is small enough to fit into my laptop carrying case. I have a feeling that I will need some of the info at the airport when we check in to show that we bought our tickets before they started charging for checked bags.
