A prayer or good thought for a good friend of Lady M's

About 15 or so years ago, Lady M (Marie) participated in a wonderful, intimate religious retreat with about 15-18 ladies. Her group has stayed together, about 8-12 ladies still get together almost every month on a rotating basis for a social visit with a little religious theme. (I did a similar one with a group of guys but our group petered out in about 2 years......guys).

Over the years, the women in Marie's group have become very dear, close friends. Last night, one of the group, Bea, passed away from cancer, at the early age of 54. Bea is the second lady in the group to pass away over the years. Please remember Bea in your prayers and/or good thoughts. Also for Marie, a sad time it is for her.

So sorry to hear about Marie's friend, Dan I can understand her sadness. It's almost the 3 yr mark for when my former DMIL passed away. She was more than a MIL, she was a good friend as well. She died of cancer on Dec 26, 1999. I still can't believe she's gone, I miss her a lot. Just tonight, DS14 and I made her recipe for homemade fudge. *sigh* Didn't mean to ramble on... *hugs* to your DW, Dan.

Dear Dan, Do you remember how I mentioned that I Hate Cancer? We found out today that my BIL (age 32) has had new tumor growth from the leftovers of his testicular cancer. They'll meet with a surgeon on 12-17 to discuss options. I really hate cancer.
