This is a funny thread. I agree with all of them. One thing that my kids say, although I don't think I've seen it here, is "on accident" vs "by accident". As in, "Mom, I stepped on Mike's foot and he's crying but it was on accident." Grrrrr.
Also, do you stand "in line" or "on line"? I've always said "in line", but I know I've heard parents tell their kids to go get "on line" to hold a spot. Online means something entirely different to me, lol.

I also know several grown-ups who refer to that common childhood illness now rendered rare thru immunization as chicken pops. No lie.

Seriously, I am so happy to find someone who understands this. I used to correct people ALL the time on this.....well, I lost a friend in college because of this. She got REALLY upset that I corrected her and she was an English major (I think a little alcohol might have been involved too!
