Whoo Hoo, I got another point! Via Napoli looks so good! I wanted to go there in October but just couldn't fit it in so I'm hoping to get it in for February. Right now, Mom and I are on our own the last two days and we've got it narrowed down to four restaurants. Via Napoli is one of them and I'm subtly trying to influence Mom to pick it!

I always say I'm going to try all kinds of treats around WS and then I'm just never hungry. I need to change that!

I totally see you getting the "Ariel" necklace at Pick a Pearl. It's a seashell that they mount the pearl in. I'm actually thinking of that one as my next choice.

Hey guys, I don't have much to say today but I'm super excited and just want Sept to be here already!!

I DO have to say however, that for the NEXT three weeks I will be posting updates, no more of this "every second week" as there just isn't enough time left for me! I will post them every Friday, so this only gives you a week to get your ADR guesses in!

Glad you are slowing down a bit, I'm having so much trouble keeping up on the DIS right now due to work. August is always my worst month.

I definitely plan on doing a TR for the wedding. My family is going to think I'm crazy with all the food pictures but I don't care.

ADRs are all made for that trip, got BOG and Le Cellier but not for the times I wanted. Oh well, at least I got them! Of course, the hours came out the same day I did the ADRs. Both days I have scheduled for us to be at HS are red days. Other than that and missing the MSEP since it's only on certain nights, I think I did ok.

Loved the reference to the Hunger Games in your last post. I read the books a while ago but wanted to do so a second time before the next movie comes out. So I bought them on audio and am listening on the way back and forth to work. Makes my commute go so much faster!

UGH! I need to re read catching fire again before seeing the movie. I know the movies weren't as good as the first book, but hey, I'll still go see it!

Hey guys! So as I’m going to be doing the last three day updates back to back week wise [as in, next Friday, you must have your ADR guesses in for that update. I just don’t have enough time before the trip!] I figured I’d post a little life upate in here too!

I got my Tink dress! Some of you may have seen on instagram/facebook, and it’s PERFECT. I can tell a couple of the bits where she “messed up” but hey, that’s why she was selling for half price, right? And it fits like a glove! I was worried about having to sew straps onto it, but it’s perfect! I’m super pumped!

I also got my feathers for the FOTLK Disneybound, and I asked for two yellow, and two blue, and I got two blue and two orange…. And the bag was all “one extra! Smiley face!” and the extra was the one yellow...uhm..okay. I might email her to complain/ask…

In other news, THEY POSTED AUDITIONS!! And there is a look alike one on Sept 12, and it includes the new characters from Frozen, Anna and Elsa….Needless to say, after an hour of freaking out and not knowing what to do, I decided that we have more than enough extra time in MK later in the week, I will bring everything into the park with me, and leave around 2:00 from the Contemp to hit up the audition. Awesome sauce, right? Well…if I get pulled, and they have us do the animation, and then fitting, and I get through all of that, GREAT, but wait…I, stupidly, thinking of “make sure we’re out in time for Wishes and MSEP” made our Be Our Guest ADR for 6:55PM… audition starts at 4. If you remember Feb, Paige and I got cut first round, and made it to the contemp at 5:40. So if I do get through, I will end up missing BOG. Which breaks my heart, I don’t want to be late either, as I REALLY want to be there to be able to see Mom and Anne’s reactions to it.

Obviously, I’m subscribed to the Sept cancelled ADR’s thread, and I’m checking the dining site insane amounts of times a day, but no luck so far. I just really need someone to cancel! I’ll take a later time on the 12 or the earliest time I can get on the 17th before MNSSHP. The other days just don’t really work with what else we have planned…. Keep your fingers crossed for me please!! ETA: I managed to score an ADR for the later time that I wanted, but it’s only for two people, luckily, I think I can make that work!

Day 7 -> Tuesday Sept 17​

Welcome back everyone!! Today we’ll be getting up BRIGHT and early, hence the relaxing last couple of days! It will however, be a get up and go kinda day, as we’re heading out for breakfast reservations! A bus will hopefully pick us up right around 7:15am! EEK! As I said, we’re headed over to Magic Kingdom, and hopefully we can get some really nice empty Main Street photos on our way in!

YAY! And congrats to those who guessed our ADR correctly, Courtney, Mel, Belle032, Rob, Ariana, Monkey30, and Blabbermouth, we’re headed into Crystal Palace this morning! In case you can’t tell, I have a soft spot for this place! I love the idea of getting into MK early, and love the Winnie the Pooh Gang, so naturally, it’s a good place to go. Mom enjoyed it last year as well, and I just don’t think CRT is worth the price. I’ll do breakfast there someday, but not today!

I’m most excited for the food in case you were wondering, I really do love the selection of food here! And of course, we all love the characters!

Yay! One thing I will remember to do this time is ask for the bill at the very start of the meal, sure, it’s on the dining plan, but I’ve noticed that the servers tend to disappear on me at buffets and then it takes for freaking ever to get the bill and that really annoys me! Breakfast will be relaxed and we’ll be taking out time eating, digesting and visiting while we wake up, and if we take longer than until 9:00 that’s totally fine too!

Once everything’s wrapped up, we’ll head over to the other side of the park that we did not start in the last time we were in Magic Kingdom, Frontierland!





And of course continue through to Adventureland!



PS, just heard that Jungle Cruise is going to be closed while we’re there and I’m incredibly sad, it’s such a classic, I love it! Sad we’ll be missing it this week! Obviously today will be about doing all the things we didn’t do in our first MK day, and re-doing the FAVORITE THINGS! Since I want to be able to relax and take some time on this trip, I’m not too concerned about everything getting done on Day 1, as we have time to do it today too!

Characters will obviously be on the list to do today, and will probably include Tink and friends, Jasmine and Aladdin and anyone else on this side of the park. To complete the start of the day there’s a chance we’ll head into New Fantasyland for some lunch!



Because let’s be serious, who doesn’t want to see that sight again? And the menu’s different for the CS lunch, and we might just do a light lunch because of breakfast. It also depends on the crowd level, if lines are still crazy at 10AM for BOG, then we’ll eat somewhere else.



Yum!

My guess is we’ll stick it out for the Move It Shake It as I’ll want to see if everyday possible, and depending on timing, we might grab a spot on Main Street to watch the parade again!



We’ll watch from the train station end of Main Street though, and once it’s over we’ll book it out to the bus stop to get back to the resort, we’ve all got a party to get ready for!!

Another little life update: Yesterday, I was sitting on the bus, thinking about Paige, and about Disney, and about Anna and Elsa, when I realized…. PAIGE AND I MAKE THE PERFECT ANNA AND ELSA! [Frozen, new movie….] And immediately texted her and we immediately started pricing out everything and are in the process of PLANNING!

We are officially going back next Halloween, Sept 10-16 are our tentative dates, and we are looking for some other interested people to come with us who would like to share the hotel room, maybe you and a friend were thinking of coming, but the price is just too much with just two of you?! HERE’S YOUR DISCOUNT! Lawl…

The resort break will probably be a short one today, we’ll simply be freshening up, getting changed, and hopping down back to the bus to head back to the Magic Kingdom. If this seems kinda out of the way to you, it does to me too! I’ve been debating getting a locker for the day, and that way just being able to change at the park after four rolls around. Then again, knowing that we’ll be there early in the morning and already had a full MK day, we might leave the park earlier, have time for an hour nap, and then head back out.

ANYWAYS, story time aside, I do want to get to the park by 5:30 at the latest as I’m dressing up as;



Yay! Favorite princess! Also can we talk about her perfect that girl is, like, ugh. After MONTHS of searching through Etsy I FINALLY found a costume that was priced closer to $200 rather than the $500 that I had been seeing everywhere, bonus! I also PLAN on getting some extensions to clip in for the night and just leave my bangs braided with the rest loose. I also got a little Pascal from the Disney Store a few weeks ago for the night, AND I’m considering a frying pan, we’ll see! The reason I want to get there early, and still in the daylight is that I want to get pictures in the Tangled bathrooms/rest area area!



Adorable. I know Mom will probably be all “you want pictures in the bathrooms?!” and just won’t get it, but hey, that’s not my problem bahah.

Wait…what? WHO AM I DRESSING UP AS?! Clearly, my Rapunzel costume fell through….I am Tink…I will probably take some cute pictures around the park, any ideas for where/poses. And we’ll spend the first hour before the party in line for Tink if it’s not killer so we can spend more time doing party stuff! Mom is being Peter, and Anne is being CRUELLA! I also left the above in there because hey, who doesn’t like some fun pictures!?

We’ll have about an hour or so until I’ll want to head back to the hub as we’ve got an important line to get in! And who knows, at some point tonight, there is going to be a lovely Dismeet, and possible all night hang out kind of thing, I’m not sure what’s going to happen yet, but, Dani, Jen, Courntey and I (and even some more from PTR’s I’ve been checking out recently) will be at MNSSHP that night, and I definitely want to meet up and hang out with all of them at some point, it’s going to be a great night! Anywho, important line:



Let’s be serious, it’s all about Eugene in this line, like, no one’s there to see Prince Charming, heck, they don’t even really care about Cinderella, it’s all Eugene… Hahaha. With our first meet of the night done with, we’ll spend some time exploring and getting some photopass pictures, maybe meet another character.



I can’t really remember a bunch about the timing of things at MNSSHP, but I feel like then it will be time for a Villains show!



And of course a meet after the show!



We can trick or treat our way around the park and through the character meets/dance parties from then until it’s time for Hallowishes, which gives us a pretty decent amount of time to play!




Hallowishes won’t be missed of course, it is my favorite firework display after all!




And of course, Boo to You! Another favorite, and very entertaining! I’ve always watched the second viewing of the night as it’s far less crowded, and I’ve always found a spot right up by the rope! I also MUCH prefer it down Main Street! Paige and I watched from Frontierland last year and it was so dark there the pictures just didn’t turn out. Add in the fact that we were across the street from Pecos Bills so the lights from there were blinding us and making all the pictures shadowy. Boourns.



After the parade I wouldn’t be surprised if we catch another Villains show just to get another meet or two in place and just kinda hang out.



And of course, now is the prime time to catch any of the dance parties that they have going on around the park!



I’ll probably plan on sticking it out til midnight, especially if the rest of the disboard meet up group people want to (guessing that Jen and the kids won’t last that late, but you never know). I also have a feeling that Dani and Matt’s costumes are going to be amazing, so we’ll definitely be needing pictures! Baha. BUT, yeah, just a lot of wandering and hanging out at the end of the night. I’ll want to check out some of the MNSSHP merch, and then we’ll be calling it a night!

ADR hint: We are returning to one of my favorite table services for lunch tomorrow, and it has a special tie to Mom, Anne and I…we are headed to a park we have only been to once so far this trip.

I got so confused about the Rapunzel costume! You'll have fun interacting no matter what costume you're wearing!

I hope the BoG/audition day works out! To me the audition would be the most important. Honestly of all the characters Anna and Elsa seem most suited to you! This could be the one!
