Sort of bummed you are not auditioning at all but I totally understand not wanting to take up Disney time with that.

I guess one of the big blessings of a PTR is it's awesome when it's over since it means the actual trip's about to start.

Hey ya'll!!! Hope you're still reading along and keeping up to date, also hope you're all having a wonderful and magical day!! I just wanted to pop in and say hello and do a little update for ya'll while we wait for the trip report to officially start!!

Those of you who follow along on Instagram/Twitter/Facebook might know some of the details and secrets of stuff that happened already, but for those of you that don't, don't worry, it'll all come in time!

It was an amazing trip, taken at a much different speed than I'm used to, but it was wonderful to actually slow down and do stuff that we'd completely missed before. It was amazing to get to see my Mom pointing out things she remembered, and expressing interest in doing her favorites again, and of course, trying new things! It was also a blast to see Anne enjoying everything for the first time, and see the magic through a first timer's eyes!

There were TONS of dismeets this time around, with some amazing people off the disboards, some off tumblr and some just random disney friends!! And of course there were lots of old friends that we ran into along the way!

I'm currently waiting on the photopass site to add in some of my missing photos before I order the cd, and then once the CD is here, I will be able to start the trip report!! Currently I'm working on the trip video, which is proving to be challenging...if anyone knows any super easy editing programs, please let me know! Lol

This trip also really solidified that I really do need to be down there, and performing, I really do wish there was an easier way to just move and get any old job so I could be auditioning more often and more readily available. That being said I am going to be putting every effort into preparing myself for a role and just superbly taking care of myself now and focusing on working to make that dream come true! Wishing on stars will only get you part of the way, right?

I also never got to tell you-- at the Halloween party on the 20th there were a group of girls dressed as the Bimbettes! AND THEIR COSTUMES WERE SO LEGIT. Like I don't even know where they got them because they looked like the real thing. I was beyond jealous.

Have you thought about applying for any other jobs at Disney other than performer in the meanwhile as a way to get yourself down there and in the door? Clearly moving from Canada to Florida is a pretty big thing though so I can see how that would be insanely complicated!

I know right?! But we definitely will be back in Disney at the same time sometime again and in the meantime, we have some pretty awesome stories to tell!!

AH! AWESOME!! I saw some pictures on tumblr of some bimbette costumes that were pretty sweet, but I can't lie, I want ones that look like the dhs stage show costumes, especially with that big of a skirt, I want to spiiiiiiinnn everywhere!!

I definitely have, I've been looking into the careers website as well as the auditions, I have no worries WHATSOEVER about moving down there, if I could id be down there and working at McDonald's, like, no lie. It's the problem of actually getting a visa, it's tricky stuff! Lol

Most definitely!! I finally got to sit down and watch your trip video today! It was perfect and the baby I babysit was HOOKED. It ended and all she would say was "Me-See" until I started it again. I find it beyond adorable how much your mom and her friend get into all the magic. And I was so surprised to see us in it! So glad your mom thought to take a picture!

Ah I totally didn't realize about the Visa situation coming into play. I don't know a great deal about the specifics of them but I've had friends who have nothing but problems working them out! I'm a pretty firm believer in everything happening for a reason so I'm sure everything will come together when the time is right.
