A Not So Scary September Birthday Celebration of Magic! Updated 9/23!!

First, thank for the YouTube links. I really liked listening to the "princesses" talk about the experience. Very interesting.

AHHHHH KEYS TO THE KINGDOM!!!!!!! I can't wait for you to experience it. Hopefully you get a lot of Mickey stickers.

YAY Le Cellier! Yup, that rhymes kinda.

OK, now that ADR clue is pretty open. BUT, I'm pretty sure I have to go with Kona... final answer!

Finally caught up again. Life has been crazy here so I have done nothing on Dis!

Your pictures of Crystal place, made me look if there was any avail ADR our whole trip. There is but its Saturday morning, and super early, so probably not the best thing after the villans party the night before. Oh well another visit is in order then!

MMM Le Cellier! Looks very good the cheese soup has me intrigued! Another place I will eventually make it to, few trips down the road maybe!

No problem!! I really liked the video, it has a lot of information that you can't find anywhere, and it's nice to actually hear about the experience!!

DYING

Haha, okay! Sounds good!

Nice!!

Ahaha, awe, CP's so good!! Maybe something else will pop up for ya before you leave!!

So much yum!!

Day 9-> Thursday Sept 19th

Today’s a VERY SPECIAL DAY! And not because we’re leaving, that makes it poopy! But today marks Anne’s birthday!! YAYAYAYA. It’s a very special and landmark birthday for her too! Not that I’m going to post a woman’s age on the internet though, so you’ll just have to imagine you know.

Today we’ll simply be getting up, probably a little bit later, even closer to 8:00am, and making our way down to the lobby. Since I know we’ll all be tired and won’t want to deal with too many different modes of transportation or getting up early, I’m going to make the decision to cab it this morning, it’s not too pricey, so it’ll be fine!

Here’s where we’re going today! And congratulations go out to Courtney and Rob for guessing the last ADR of the trip right! We’re headed to Kona!

I have been DYING to eat here practically every trip since I heard about Tonga Toast, but somehow NEVER had the time, our flights were always leaving super early and there was no time for breakfast. Technically, I have eaten “from” Kona before, on my first solo trip I did Tonga Toast room service style and boy oh boy it was delicious. I figured this would be a nice relaxing, not too crazy meal to end the trip with!

I’ve always been intrigued by the coffee, I’ve heard mixed reviews, but I’m sure we’ll share a pot to try things out, and then I will definitely be ordering my beloved;

Yum!

After a nice leisurely breakfast, we might have some time to wander around the beach, look at everything for a bit, and then it’ll be back to Port Orleans to say goodbye! I *think* Mom and Anne’s Magical Express comes sometime around noon, and with that, they’ll be off back to Edmonton!

What about me, you may ask? Well, I simply booked my flight later than Anne and Mom did so I will have different flights on the way home. I thought about just going to the airport with them, but I'd rather be sitting around at Disney vs sitting around at the airport. My bus will come around two thirty. So after breakfast who know's what I'll end up doing, with MK being so close I'll be pretty tempted.....

Up next: ADR game winners, so Epcot thoughts and MORE!

Kona looks so amazing! We're also considering it for a last day breakfast, but we're going to see if we have run through all of our CS credits or not before we book, don't want to waste any credits! It seems like there are still a fair number of reservations available, so we'll make a semi-last minute decision :D

Yummm I've always wanted to try kona breakfast! It's on my short list for our may trip!

Oh man, I thought for sure you would do a Character meal for your last one! But Kona is a great choice. I've never done breakfast there but we had dinner in 2010 and it was fabulous.

Only a short Monorail ride from MK? You know you'll end up back there for a few hours! :lmao:

How awesome for Anne to celebrate her landmark 21st birthday in WDW! :yay:

Also, I just saw that the Halloween decorations at MK are already up.

Yay birthday! It's my dream to celebrate my birthday in Disney.

AH I'm way too excited that I got it right! :cheer2::cool1: I really wanted to fit in breakfast at Kona on our trip but I couldn't. I'm hoping maybe one of our lazier days when can maybe head over to the Poly for a late QS breakfast.

I'm fairly certain you may end up back in the MK :rotfl:

AH WE'RE SO CLOSE!

It looks so yummy! And a great way to end a trip at Disney! Hahha, totally fair! We always use our last minute credits on kids meals, and pick up some uncrustables/fruit for the plane trip home!

Yay! When in May were you thinking of going?!

Haah!! But TONGA TOAST!! lol. So close!! I cant wait to try it!!

I know! I'm checking right now for ticket stuff. I had a promotion in May that was get four days for cheaper than 3 days, like, it was actually cheaper, so I bought the four day pass and only used 3. I think it's expired, but it's worth checking out, right?1

Lol, yes! Lol, in Neverland she would be 8, so hey, nice and young lol.

I KNOW!! FREAKING OUT!! I can't wait!

AH WE'RE SO CLOSE!

Bahah! Hey, you can celebrate your birthday even if it's not during a trip. I've had a birthday button pretty much every trip. Paige didn't like having one alone in Sept, so I grabbed one too, my birthday's in May...and actually, Paige's is in Jan..bahaha!

SO EXCITED!! I'm dying, like, single DIGITS!

Yeah! I know you can still get Tonga toast at Captain Cooks, and Dole whips!!

As I was attempting to sleep the other day, I started to think about all of the delicious and fun things I wanted to try/do in World Showcase, as I feel I really only explore the countries once every few trips. After checking some menus and thinking back, I came up with the thought that:

-It was going to be much better to start in Mexico!

I'm thinking I'm not going to eat breakfast that morning at the hotel, and start off with:

Croissant Berry Bread Pudding at Sunshine Seasons!

Then do the following in the countries:

-Mexico: Avacado Margarita! Ride the ride!

-Norway: School Bread

-China: Green Tea Plum Slush. Meet Mulan! See the movie
joy-of-teas-green-tea-plum-slush.jpg

-Germany: Rumplemintz shot!
I have no idea what it is, but it sounds like Rumplestitlskin and that's enough for me!....hmm...just googled it to try and find a picture...not too sure if I'll do the shot or not...just google it...

-Italy: Bellini or Sangria. Probably a jug of sangria with lunch between the three of us, let's be serious! We also have lunch here! I also picked up perfume a few trips ago that I'm now out of and I really really love it, so I'd like to hopefully find it again!

-USA: Frozen Red Stag Lemonade. Also watch Voices of Liberty!

jim-beam-red-stag-lemonade.jpg

-Japan: PICK A PEARL!
I've wanted to do this for a while now, and figure I may as well this trip, right?!

-France: GM slush, duh. Also watch the movie, and check out the new bakery. If I have any room left, I'll snack on something I'm sure!

-UK: Welsh Dragon drink. Watch the band!

welsh-dragon-rose-and-crown.jpg

-Canada: we'll be back for some delicious dinner later in the trip, so that's there!

It'll be a fun day to say the least!!

I also really want to try the Carrot Cake Cookie from the Writer's Stop at DHS, but I know I'll want to eat my beloved cupcake that day, so maybe I'll end up saving it for later?? Who knows?

In other news: we're all excited!! That's about it. Lol. Mom's birthday is today!! Naturally, we'll be celebrating it in Disney NEXT WEEK! I'm just sitting here hoping that #1: My bows get here soon! and Number two: I hear back from casting soon, and #3: that this week FLYS by.

I'm meeting up with Paige tomorrow, so she'll be able to tell me all about her Disney adventures and I'll get to see her pictures and stuff, maybe I'll share some on here too? I don't think she's figured out the Disboards enough to make a TR haha! I also get to DANCE tomorrow. Then later this week I have another tattoo removal appointment, and then before I know it, it'll be time to go!

Omg they have Red Stag lemonade in the US pavilion?! Why didn't I know this before! :hyper:

I think your World Showcase adventure sounds awesome. It's always fun to have planned things to do in each country so you don't rush right through them.

The pick-a-pearl has always sounded fun too! Can't wait to hear about your experience doing it.

We have 1 month and 3 days til our vacation and I'm super excited so I can't imagine how excited you must be! Oh and happy birthday to your mom!

They sure do!! I definitely want to try it!!

Thanks!! I always need something to do! And it helps me actually take me time going through everything!!

I have no idea what kind of setting I'll want, but hey, it'll be fun!!

Ahahahah, yeah, I'm dying. Three of my friends left for Florida today, and my roomate left for San Fran today, and I've still got another week!!

Thanks on her behalf!!

Happy birthday to your mom (a day late!)

I love your plans for the WS. That is a good idea to make sure you don't rush through them!

:rotfl: I think I might suggest skipping the Rumpelmintz shot. I'm not sure how high your alcohol tolerance is, but your quest around the world may end there if it's not high!

Are you jumping out of your skin with excitement yet?!!!!

I'm going to start in Mexico this time too.

I LOVE pick a pearl, I wear my necklace from 5 years ago all the time still.

I want to definitely try the school bread this time and the avocado marg looks interesting!

HAHAHA, I totally read Rumplestiltskin too. If I have a shot I'll report back to you ;)

I'm sure she says thanks!

Yeah, I figured I should have something to do this time to occupy myself, I might pick up a Perry mission too! Who knows!

Ahaha, yeah, I'm probably going to skip it! My tolerance is fantastic (depending how you look at it, I can handle my booze very well, but it's not cheap haha] But I want to try so many other things, and still be functioning at the end of the day!

 Surprisingly, not yet. I'm super emotionally excited lol, like, cannot wait to be there! However I guess I'm trying not to think about it until I get through the week!!

Yay!!

I'm excited for it!

The School bread was not as good as I expected when I first tried it, but it was stale,s o maybe it was just a bad one. There are so many kinds of maragaritas there that are different that I figured I should try something else!

Haha, yeah, I'm probably going to skip it!

party: Happy Late Birthday to Katt's Mom!!! :bday: party:

I will pass that along to her!

Hey folks!
We've got 3 days until we take off for the World! So I figured I should pop in here and go over the ADR stuff and finish off the game!

Our ADR's are:

-Chef Mickey's for dinner
-Be Our Guest for dinner
-Sci Fi for lunch
-Hoop De Doo Revue
-Via Napoli lunch
-Crystal Palace breakfast
-Le Cellier lunch
-Kona breakfast!

And a big ole congratulations goes out to:

Courtney and Rob!!!!

For tying in FIRST PLACE!! Yayayaya!!:cool1:

Seriously, every time I posted a hint and you guys got it right it seriously impressed me! You go Glen Coco!! In a close second we've got:

Shannon and Ariana!!

So close!! I know Shannon missed a couple updates, and I think Ariana did to, but yay for you guys!!

In other news:

Paige had her Disney trip last week with her boyfriend and she absolutely loved it! She said that Chris definitely "gets" the Disney magic and it was an amazing time had by all! Yay!!

I have officially come to the decision that I will not be auditioning during the trip. It's just adding too much stress to the vacation and takes too much time out of our FIRST day, so just, no. I'll go to some more parade auditions in the future!

That's all I've got for today friends!

I guess one of the big blessings of a PTR is it's awesome when it's over since it means the actual trip's about to start. :woohoo:

YAY first place. I will very gladly accept sharing the award. :cheer2: Some of them almost had me though, I gotta admit.

HA, nice Mean Girls reference too.

Katt, have a WONDERFUL trip with all those WONDERFUL DISers and a WONDERFUL 2 MNSSHP's. I'll try not to be too jealous. Looking forward to following along.
