Hey guys! Happy Friday and happy PTR updating day!! It's kinda looking like I may have had the time to do these updates every second week....maybe? Ack, I dunno, I have a LOT on my plate now, so that's cool!

I emailed the updates of the PTR to Mom and Anne last week and got this reply:

And also got a reply from Anne saying that she too was very excited, and she thanked me for putting together the vacation and couldn't wait! We're all pretty pumped!

I have OFFICIALLY put together all the items I need to MNSSHP/Disneybound properly, and am happy to no longer need to buy anything! Heck. Yes. The downside, I went to double check what spankies to wear under Tink the other day, and the zipper broke.... I've taken it to a alterations place and it will be fixed by Saturday. Thank goodness. My bows have been shipped, and should be here by Sept at the latest, yay!

Day 8-> Wednesday Sept 18th​

After our late night of scaring and partying on a sugar high at Magic Kingdom, you think we’d be sleeping in, but, we are not…bahaha. We have to be up early enough to eat, and get to the bus stop for 7:30, so I’m guessing around 7:00 to allow for at least some kind of sleep in.

Today we have a meeting at City Hall right at 8:15am, as we have something very excited and awesome to meet up for that starts at 8:30! If you haven’t figured it out yet, our last day is reserved for our Keys to the Kingdom Tour!!



Those people don’t look too thrilled, but trust me, I’m going to be so freaking excited about this I can’t even handle myself right now! AAAAHHH.

It’s proving hard to find pictures tagged of this on photobucket, partially because I’m lazy, and partially because I know you’re not supposed to take pictures in certain areas! So, here’s what I know about the tour;

We all get little ear pieces now that will seriously help with hearing the guide, and the tour all depends on the guide, so here’s hoping we have an absolutely awesome one. We go through Main Street and learn some of the history/secrets of the area, guaranteed I know some of these already. Then we’ll take a spin through Haunted Mansion, and Jungle Cruise, but Jungle Cruise is closed come Sept (super sad face!) so from what I can tell we’ll be doing Pirates instead? Followed by a lunch at Columbia Harbor House (hence why we won’t be eating there earlier in the week), I’ll also be recommending that we eat lightly to Mom and Anne as we have some delicious, and rather large, late lunch/early dinner coming up later!



Chances are I’ll have either the salmon or the salad from here! Then after lunch comes the most exciting part, THE UTILIDOORS! I know they’re not that exciting in real life, and they’re not all that fabulous, but seriously, I don’t care, bahah. I’ve also heard that you get to see some of the parade performers in rehearsals, and I read on one TR that the 8:30 tour they did they saw Move It Shake It, so like, DURP that’ll be the most awesome thing.

The tour’s about 3.5 hours in total from what I’ve heard, and they let you collect some free bottles of water at the start of it, so like, heck yah. Hopefully it will be something totally awesome and Anne and Mom will enjoy it. I know it will only be the start of my touring days and I can’t wait to do ALL of them haha.

With our tour over, we’ll thank our guide, say good bye to our new friends (because, let’s be serious, we’ll make some new friends on this tour, everyone talks to everyone in Disney, and My Mom is no exception, I swear, she told every second person we sat beside that I was waiting to hear back from casting last Sept from electronic submissions…*sigh*) and then we’ll make our way out of the park, and onto my love!



Por Favor!!!! Seriously, dying, I don’t know why I don’t own the monorail Iphone case yet…LAWL! When I was originally planning the trip, and we had just added on the free dining promotion, I didn’t want to bother adding the Hoop De Doo into our DDP credits, and fuss around with refunding it and rebooking and all that jazz, so I just left it paid out of pocket, which left us with two TS credits each.

I figured that I’d book something nice for Mom and Anne to do to, like the Wave, or Grand Flo Café, something nice and for just them to get away from the craziness a bit. And Kim and I would go somewhere else, and then we’d just use the last credits to pay for someone else’s meal. Well, I went onto Disney Dining and started to look for stuff, and with an open availability for the day was my favorite restaurant, so I couldn’t turn it down, I’d figure out everything else later.

Yeah…turns out it’s a two credit for lunch now….



OM NOOOOOOMMMM Congrats Courtney, Mel, Belle, Rob, and Shannon for guessing right!

Seriously, I couldn’t turn it down. I originally had us booked a little bit earlier in the day, but thanks to the tour and wanting us to be able to have enough time to get there, I bumped it a bit later, but we’re all good, a nice late lunch to tide us through the rest of the day. OBVIOUSLY, we’ll be nommin down on:



The pretzel bread clearly being the winner! My guess is we’ll order a cup of the soup to share/dip it in. Especially with me actually being dairy free now, I have a little bit and my stomach HAAAATES me, so I will partake as much as I can, but don’t want to feel miserable for the rest of the night!





Don’t know what Mom and Anne will be nomming on, but there’s no way I’m NOT getting the filet, I mean, come on, it’s the whole reason you go to Le Cellier. I’ll be doing the beans too, no creamy risotto for me thanks! I’m happy that it ended up being our last big dinner/lunch this trip. When we started with it last time it set the bar kinda high for the rest of the week, ahaha!

Lunch will take as long as we feel the need for it to take as it’s the “midday break/relax” that we have scheduled for today. I know it’ll be a long day, but really, it’s our last day of vacation, and we need to live it up all we can!

Now here’s where the plan MIGHT be wonky. Depending how long lunch takes, I’m guessing we can be done by 4:30, and if Anne & Mom are wanting to take a break, we could head back to the hotel, meaning we’d be there by 5:00, and half maybe an hour and a half before heading back out again.

OR, we’ll jump back on the monorail and head back over to Magic Kingdom.

Looking at it, I’m thinking we’ll take the break if we finish lunch early enough.

So, at Port Orleans by 5:30, hang out there for an hour, then head back out to Magic Kingdom. If it’s worth it…

ETA: Read through that while posting this and am thinking "WHAT THE EFF AM I THINKING?!" It's the last day of the vacation, we're gonna go over to France, down like, 6 GM Slushes, slowly mosey on out of Epcot back to MK for the night...like..who am I and what have I done with Katt??

It’ll be a relaxing evening, and the main point of it all will be to catch one last showing of Celebrate the Magic and of course, Wishes! I also know Courtney will be in Magic Kingdom so we could possibly hang out again too!

Of course, that’s not the last thing we’ll be doing before we leave (frick, I’m crying just thinking about it…) For those of you who don’t know, I have a little tradition before leaving each trip, and that’s to not only end the trip at Magic Kingdom (hence the park hopping back there today) I feel like it makes the trip that much more magical. I mean, what better way to end it than Wishes?

I like to take a little trip up to the top of the train station, and just watch the park empty out. Take those last few minutes to really absorb it all, to reflect on the past week of magic, adventures and fun, To think about how one man (or…mouse…) created all of this, how he had such an incredible imagination that he was able to create such a magical world where princess are real, pirates aren’t that horrible, you can soar over London, shrink down to fairy size, fly through space, and of course, where dreams come true.

I feel like after the tour we might take a little bit more time reflecting…

And then it will be back to the resort, where we’ll all be packed up and ready to go the next morning, we’ve got a little bit of magic left, gotta squeeze it until the very last drop, am I right?! Stay tuned!

ADR hint: we have breakfast tomorrow at a Monorail resort that we have not yet been to on this trip!

I just booked Mom and I to do the KTTK tour in February! So excited! Maybe I'll get to read about yours before my trip although maybe not since it's on the last day.

Le Cellier, yum! I know what you mean about setting the bar high, Mom and I did that last November. It was our first meal in November and we compared everyone after that to it! I get to eat there again in February, it was my brother's first choice.

Of course since I didn't have a reservation number for that week, I had to pay out of pocket for Hoop-Dee-Do. I've really been hoping that a reservation will open for the show I want to go to so I can grab that and cancel the one I have now. Been checking several times a day to try to make that happen! I also thought about adding another 2 credit dining reservation but with as picky as I am, most of the 2 credits don't have anything I'll eat. Plus it's Food and Wine time and we want to eat there some. I may just have to give in and call to try to get it fixed.

I love you last night tradition at MK! I won't get to end my trip at MK this October. That Friday is a MNSSHP night and we are not going to that party but to one earlier in the week.

I'm going to go with 1900 Park Fare for your breakfast. I think you will want to end your trip with a princess meal!

I hope you love the KTTK tour! I know what you mean about the utilidors, probably actually lame, but still AMAZINGLY COOL. Yay for Le Cellier! I do think the cheese soup would give me a tummyache too though The filet however! And it totally feels like home there, no?

The last day is SO hard! Practically impossible to decide what to do. It's smart that you're doing the tour, that at least fills up a part of the day in a special way.

Ahaha, yeah, I'm sure teh tour will be a hit with all of us, and a lovely thing to keep us occupied on the last day!

The cheese soup is SO GOOD! I will definitely be indulging in some, but not much, don't want to feel gross!!

I know!! I usually do the whole "park hop everywhere" thing, hit up all the favorites, but I figure we'll have done enough repeats by then!
