A new collection

For the last couple of years we have been collecting the works of Larry Dotson.

We were able to meet him in 2002 and now have 9 of his prints hanging on the walls. Can't wait for him to complete the rest of the World Showcase.

These may not fit into the normal Disney "collectible".

Do you have anything from Disney that may not be a normal "collectible"

Nope I am completely normal. Oh you meant my collections - I like to collect Smarties from all over the world or did you mean unusual Disney collections.

Actually my one collection that could be classified as off beat, I have started to collect art work by Ron Dias. A disney artist who I had the pleasure of meeting in CA last summer. He also happened to have worked on merchandise for my favorite Disney movie - The Black Cauldron.

Oh my! Mr Dotson's work is beautiful!

Debbie? Where do you find his prints? The only prints I've seen and I don't know if they were Mr Dotson's or not were of the AKL and AK. Course they were on the small side which is fine with me since I don't have alot of wall space Anyways I'd love to start picking up prints of my fave views of WDW and I see he has one of the Rose and Crown which is a all time fave of mine.

Thanks for bring my attention to him. And do let me know if his work is available at WDW and how on earth did I manage to not see it?

He is usually at the Flower and Garden Festival and sometimes at Food and Wine. And usually in the first week of December he sets up at the American Pavilion.

On the 1st 2nd and 4th Saturday he is at AKL and I think all of his works are there.

You can get the USA one at the America Pavilion.

You can e-mail them and they send you an e-mail order form. He takes the order information to WDW and they send it out.

Wow those are nice.... Hmmmm I could always add a room to the back of the house...

He was at the America Pavilion when I met him and purchased a print. I may be wrong, but I think that they have all of his Epcot prints for sale in that store.

What's nice is that he'll sign it for you if he's there.
