Hi all!
DH did well on his first outing since all this began more than a month ago. He actually drove both ways to/from Baltimore and we did his antibiotic injection while visiting with friends. I'm hoping this convinces him that it's time to start thinking of himself as more well than sick!
Tomorrow I get my time out with some buddies -
BUMP!
Good Monday morning everyone!
I had a great weekend!!!
DH may still be cranky but it isn't bothering me!
DS and I have a busy week ahead; have to clean out the shed in the back yard since someone is coming to tear it down this weekend. Every night after work I will need to go out there and decide what to trash and what to keep and find a place in the cramped storage area of the basement and garage for it.
But I don't care! This past weekend will propel me through it! Then next week I will go out with another girlfriend for an evening of fun!
And Brandi, you will appreciate this: I ate 4 hard-shell Maryland crabs on Saturday and 10 yesterday plus downed several glasses of good wine (I know sacrilege to not have beer with those crabs!).
BUMP!
I love soft shell too! And the legs do feel a bit odd at first but oh, they taste so good!
And crabs are good with almost any drink!
DH used to go out on our boat (when we had one) and bring them home; what a treat!
Nothing like Maryland crabs!
I was going to ask , how are soft shell crabs? I would love to try one. As long as it fresh, can't stand anything that has a fishy smell. Kathy I am so happy your DH is doing well! Enjoy your time out with friends. bump
Kathy, glad your dh is doing better.
Not a seafood eater here. Maybe some tuna salad occasionally, lol.
