A need a fun family board game suggestions!

Oops, thanks MM,

15 & 17. The 17 yo is an Asperger's kid. He likes board games but memeory games do him in

What about some card games? Someone mentioned UNO. Things like rummy, gin, kings in the corner, etc.. are easy, quick and fun.

I second the Battleship. Yahtzee.

There is a game called "Can't Stop". They don't make it anymore. It is a dice game and very fun. I bought one off ebay yrs ago.;)

Our family loves "Apples to Apples".

We also loved "Last Word". The kids were great at it and the adults struggled. it was hilarious. Old brains, lol.

My personal favourite is Trivial Pursuit. We also like Pictionary and Dutch Blitz.

I love boardgames!
DH is a "gamer" and has turned me into one.

If you're curious about any game check out boardgamegeek.com - its like boardgames version of disboards :thumbsup2 You can search for a game, get a description, pictures, people's reviews.

Some of our great family games are:
Dice town (my current favourite)
Cosmic Cows (like yahtzee turned into a tug-of-war)
Carcasonne (tile laying)
Ticket to Ride
If Wishes were Fishes (cute rubber worms & comedic cartoon fishes)
Pandemic (great cooperative game!)
Citadels
Wyatt Earp (great spin on rummy)
Kill Doctor Lucky (similar to Clue in that you've got a house with lots of rooms, but instead of trying to solve a murder, you're trying to get alone in a room with doctor lucky to kill him, done with much humour!)

Bought Fact of Crap for DS. Basically you have to decide if a statement is true or false, but it is a a lot of fun.

Our favorite family game is
LCR.. It is a dice game, even my ds7 plays it, we taught him when he was about 5, all you have to know is your right from left lol.

We play with quarters when the adults get together, with the kiddos we just play with the chips that come with it or pennies, sometimes candy.

We get loud and laugh alot with this game! Good family fun.

We are BIG gamers at our house but if I had to pick just one our favorite would be Ticket to Ride, we have the original with the expansion and dice expansion. We might get hooked on another board games for a while, but we always "go back" to Ticket.

We also loved "Last Word". The kids were great at it and the adults struggled. it was hilarious. Old brains, lol.

I just bought this for our Thanksgiving get-together! It looks like a lot of fun.
