Actually watching a movie called Vanity Fair, another Regency Period Film, which I'm not really sure I like very much. But I have to say, the coconut rum and Coke that Cynthia recommends is quite a nice treat on this rainy, icky evening.

Having a cocktail on arainy night is always good -- but coconut rum???

I'll try to get an update up tomorrow. Have to get ready for the Halloween Party we are going to tonight. Hope everyone has a safe and Happy Halloween.

I was skeptical too, but it was really very , very good! It is rum but is spiked with coconut liqueur. YUM!

I'll do an update on the trip tonight, but before I start cleaning here are a few pictures from our Halloween Party last night. We had a blast (Shelley even made the shots that we used to drink at the bar 30 years ago (Mark was a bartender and I was a waitress/bartender at the Disco for years):

We had a really great time...it was fun to get together with many friends from over 30 years ago.

No, it's not wrong for you to be sining "Do The Hustle." We sang it many times last night. Yeah, I had to be careful NOT to bend over in my dress. We had a hard time finding a costume to fit Mark so thought this was perfect for him since he doesn't dance Disco (or any music for that matter!).

Thanks, Ann. Actually Mark did NOT want to dress up. However, I told him, we weren't going if he didn't dress up. Next year's party is going to be pirate themed. So if we are here for it (we might actually be at Disney), I can guarantee you he will be gung ho on dressing up for that one.

What is it with the kids? They are the ODD ones--this is great day to act silly and have fun. Mark and I are answering the door with our Eeyore and Tigger ears on.

Hi, Liesa. I'm doing great. Just chilling watching NCIS reruns because we have our big party tomorrow night. And catching up on all of my threads.

I love NCIS! I tape every Tuesday , I'm usually not home on Tuesday PM in time to watch.
I am glad you all did not get hurt in the accident. I hate getting hit by people who get mad at you when it was their fault. (I cry too!) I get hit awhile back by an older gentleman w/ hearing aids. I had my kids in the car and I couldn't get out of his way. I blew my horn, but he later said his aids were turned off and he smugly said-"I' a retired judge" and I'd better be prepared to pay! The police came and said it was his fault, he did not have the rt. of way. I was so relieved, I really thought I was in big trouble!

Thanks, Camille. We didn't have a lot of trick or treaters. Most of the kids in our neighborhood have grown up and gone away.

We DVR NCIS every week or we watch it On Demand. I could just look at Mark Harmon all night long.

I got them at Spirit Halloween. They were off after 2-1/2 or 3 hours--they were killing my feet (and cutting off the circulation in my legs).

I told Mark what you said and he was roaring with laughter.

Unfortunately, I think I did TOO MUCH SHAKING...my things are killing me.
