Its a clothing store with shoes, purses, mens, womens, housewares etc...picture a much less expensive Marshall's/TJ Maxx. Some brand names but not too much. They have a dress sale every year, all dresses under $15

I think it is a "chain" mini dept store.

I'm going to try to finish up Sunday, Monday and coming home day over the weekend. I seem to be losing followers and I think I've dragged this on long enough (over a month).

I say drag it out for as long as possible. You can always make each update each hour of the day....

Saturday 10pm... DISed

Saturday 11pm... went to bed

Saturday 12.. slept

etc etc....

You can draw this out till at least summer.

I love your halloween costumes! You and Mark remind me of how my folks were when I was a teenager - Mom was always the outgoing life-of the party type, and dad was the sit in the corner, and drink his beer type. They also pretty much had the one token slow dance. I think she has slowed down a little now - she will be 70 next year. Although, at their 50th anniversary party this summer she was still on the dance floor a lot.

Mom also had a pair of those boots - only when she bought them they weren't a costume


Sounds like your Marco Island portion of your trip was filled with good food and good friends (and lots of Starbucks!).

Can't wait to hear more of your adventures! I know this report isn't finished yet - but do you have more trips lined up yet???

Finally caught up again!

First - about the accident! Not exactly the way you two had planned on ending your girls day I bet! I'm so glad you were both okay though, whew! I was once in a 5 car line of being rear-ended, I was the front car and heard it coming and saw it in my rear view mirror so I stepped HARD on my brake so I wouldn't budge - it worked! However, it was a looooooong time before I wouldn't get nervous when I saw a car coming a bit quickly up behind me at a red light. I hope that feeling goes away quickly for you Nicki.

Other than that, sounds like a wonderful time both the shopping and the dinner out! Love the "We are still getting Starbucks, right?"

Just saw your reply on my TR. Everything is just fine - just busy. I put a little note about life at the start of my last replies - it just basically says things have been busy, we are going to St. Lucia for a wedding in 2 weeks, then to Minnesota for Thanksgiving. Plus, I've recently decided to go back to work, so job hunting/resume tweaking, etc is taking up some of my computer time.

I'm sloooooooooooowly catching up on the DIS. I'll be back here to reply sometime soon - this week! I wanted to get an update in on my TR while I had a good 2 hours to sit and focus.

I LOVE me some crab legs almost any time of the day. Grumpy was busy eating and didn't notice me taking the photo! I swear I should bring a big for that man.

I still look out the mirror now while Mark is driving...especially if the weather is bad as I've got that little fear tucked away.

We did have a great day shopping and at Starbucks (and there were still a couple of visits left in there at good ole Starbucks).
