So Mark and I woke up to go meet Nicki for coffee again before she had to go to work. She was so cute...she had to see our winning ticket because she had never seen a "winning ticket" before.

So we shared our coffee and confirmed what time we were meeting her and Todd that evening.
The day called for clouds most of the day and rain off and on so we decided to drive into Ft. Myers and cash in our winning lotto ticket. Before we did that, we stopped at Walgreens so I could drop off my prescriptions to be refilled and ready for us to pick up when we got back from Ft. Myers.
I assumed we'd get a check, minus state taxes, and deposit it at a Chase Bank (unfortunately, we bank at Chase). We got to the office and filled out the paperwork; the attendant asked us to have a seat and she'd be with us shortly. She called us up and gave us our paperwork for taxes and our check. We were told that if we went to the Wachovia Bank down the block they would cancel it that day; if we went to any other Wachovia Bank it could not be cashed for two days. Well, where do you think we went? Of course, we went down the block.
Mark and I were hungry so we stopped for lunch on the way back. We saw a cute place called:
A picture from the inside:
Since I had shrimp the night before, I didn't want it again for lunch so I ordered the scallops; they were really yummy (I also had a bowl of clam chowder soup which was really gone); Mark had crab cakes and said they were scrumptious. I have no pictures because Grumpy was complaining about my taking food pictures away from Disney.

After lunch we drove back to Walgreens and got my prescriptions. We dropped the prescriptions in the room and put the money away and went and took a walk on the dock.
While we were down there, we saw this guy in the water:
After watching a few specials on the nature channel, I was very leary of going to far out in the ocean. Sorry...I just don't want to meet any jellyfish. Nothing personal of course.
Mark decided to be silly while we were on the dock:
It had started to drizzle and he was wearing his neck brace that lefts off the electrodes and it can't get wet, so he tucked it under his shirt and pretended he was the hunchback.
Shortly after that, we headed up to the condo to take showers to get ready for dinner with Nicki and Todd. When I went to the patio, this is what I saw:
We started driving in the rain towards the restaurant for dinner. Of course, we got lost. The GPS pulls up the street we are supposed to go to as the little side street rather than the main street (it won't let you put the N at the end of the street). Anyway, after two phone calls to Nicki, we found the restaurant and met them at:
Now up to this point, I had not yet met Todd. I can tell you that with his bright smile and big hug when we were introduced, I fell in love with him immediately. We decided to let the guys sit next to each other so they could talk about whatever guys talk about (work, cars, etc.) and Nicki and I sat next to each other. Nicki ordered a Blue Hawaiian:
She said it was very, VERY strong and she had to send it back to have a little more juice added to it.
I don't remember what Todd had, but here's a picture of his drink:
I had my first ever Mai Tai and it was very good (also very strong):
Mark had a Japanese beer (Harbin), but I forgot to take a picture.
We started out with the Oriental Clear Soup:
Green Salad:
We also had Stir Fried Vegetables, Japanese Steamed Rice and Shrimp Flame.
Nicki, Todd and I had the Filet and Shrimp while Mark had hte Filet and Chicken. The food was out of this world good:
Our waiter graciously took a picture of the four of us at the table before we left:
We settled the bill (and YES we did pay) and went outside.
Then we took a few pictures outside of the restaurant:
(Yes, Nicki and I were a looped after our cocktails)
A gracious man offered to take our picture outside (again, I look looped--watch it MARV!). He cut off Todd's head a little bit:
Hugs and kisses were exchanged and we said goodnight. We decided to sleep in a little the next day so we didn't make a coffee date with Nicki, but I, of course, called her as we had to make plans for the next day after that (Saturday).
So, did we go to the pool or the beach on our next day -- Friday?
