Jumping on board a little late but I am so glad I haven't missed the "Lap Dance"

Great report, sounds like everyone had a great time, looking forward to hearing about the rest of your trip, especially the "Lap Dance" story. :cheer2:

Did I mention that already? :woohoo:
I can't wait to post the photo of the "lap dance." It is one picture I will have for the rest of my laugh that will always give me a good laugh.
I'm going to jump in late, the video of Mr. Diz was hysterical.:lmao:

Two more funny Mr Diz stories coming up.

Great update. Everything I read said to avoid EMH if you could becasue it gets packed. It sounds like maybe we need to try it at least once while we are there next year.

Lost in the MKpopcorn::
I think it is hit or miss. If you stay until closing, you are bound to finally get some rides without lines.
Glad you finally got on Buzz and beat DH :woohoo:
I never beat him at that. He couldn't believe it.
The problem with the kids meals is that they expect you to order the dessert as part of one of their sides. You get their main meal (for example, nuggets) and usually 2 sides to choose from. So if you ask for a cookie or dessert you can get it. Otherwise, you will get something like grapes and fries. One CM at Epcot just threw in a cookie for my kids along with their 2 sides when I asked him.

I love your update. It looks like you all were having a really good time. I love seeing smiles on kids faces!!! :goodvibes

Okay, thanks for explaining this. I thought they were supposed to get the 2 sides, plus a cookie -at least that is what they did at Pinnochio's Village Haus. Hmmmm - maybe I ripped them off at Pecos Bills - well maybe not because Princess J only got 1 side, so I guess I just got her second side.

:offtopic:

I decided to start potty training Baby Girl yesterday. She told me she wants to wear diapers and that she is a BABY! I tried bribing with M&Ms and she said she didn't want any. When I told her she was going on the potty, she ran and hid here:

How old is Baby Girl again? Remember Brookie just got potty trained at the beginning of last month. She was 3 years 1 month old. But she is totally potty trained - everything. In fact, she even wants to wipe herself after #2 - uhm, don't think so yet!

waiting for more! That dance that your husband did in the car is hilarious! It made me want to go download HSM songs! :rolleyes1

My DBF doesn't want to meet any DISers either! What's with these men? :confused3

She's 2 1/2. She'll be 3 end of Jan. You think it is too soon? Her diaper is usually dry in the morning. My ds was already training at this age, but he was in daycare. I remember he was about this age and when he peed in the potty he said, "Mickey Mouse be proud cause I pee peed in potty."

I guess some men are just not that social! The thing is - Mr Diz is very likable and we make friends in all kinds of places. We went to Jamaica 7 years ago and still talk to another couple we met there - they've even visited us and are coming again at the end of the month. We've been out to eat, waiting for a table and started talking to people and ended up eating with them. So I don't know what the big deal is with meeting dissers at Disney.:confused3

Our entire party makes it to the bus line, it’s about 1:30 am, and there is a bus there with the door open. There is a large (in number, not weight) family in front of us, just standing, not getting on. I have the stroller and look down for a sec. Next thing I know, Mr Diz grabs Baby Girl and runs past the family and gets on the bus. Everyone follows, leaving me with the stroller. The stroller is loaded down with 5 bags and 2 Mickey ear hats. How could they just leave me there? I could understand if Mr Diz got left behind, or even Jason, but ME! I’m like the Queen Mother of the family (except much younger and with much better hair, and obviously no clout.) I’m the one who has been making sure everyone is having fun. Well, at least that’s the way I see it.

I’m struggling with the stroller, trying to get the bags off, trying to hurry before that bus closes its doors with my so called family on it. The Mickey Ears are tangled up. Jason gets off the bus and comes to my rescue. So I thought. He tells me to hurry up and I think he’s going to help me and he does. He got the 2 Mickey Ear Hats off the stroller and then got back on the bus. As he is going through the door, I am running up to the door with the stroller in my hand, trying to fold it as I am running. I can’t get it folded and Jason looks back at me and says in a YOU MORON tone, “You can’t get that thing folded?” I’m like, “NO! We’ve only had it for a couple of months and Mr Diz always folds it.” I seriously can’t get it folded. I still can’t believe my entire family has abandoned me.

Well, I finally get it folded and get on the bus before it takes off. When I got on the bus, Mandy tells me that she asked where I was and Mr Diz said, “I don’t know, but I’m on the bus and ready to go.” I told Mr Diz, "I am sooooooo going to talk about you when we get home."
Mr Diz: You're going to write about this on the disboards, aren't you?
Me: You better believe it.

I’ve invited Mr Diz to give his version. If he doesn’t put in his version, I’ll post it later.

A funny story:
I guess Mr Diz finally got me back. This was years ago and I’ve posted it before – so a repeat for some of you. One hot and humid July day Mr Diz and I were at the mall and we were arguing. I don’t know what we were arguing about. Mr Diz was probably complaining about my cooking or I was probably complaining about Mr Diz’s OCD. Anyway, we were arguing and I do remember people were staring. So I told Mr Diz I was not going to argue anymore and to drop it. He didn’t. So I said to Mr Diz, “If you don’t stop, I’m going to leave.” He didn’t. So I turned around and left. I had the keys to the car and I went home. I figured he would get a cab and go home. Two hours later, I was still sitting at home alone. Then Mr Diz walked in the door. He was sweating and he told me that he walked home. This was about a 4 mile walk. I asked him why he didn’t get a cab and he said he didn’t think about it. Then he told me that the whole time he was walking home, he was wishing he would collapse from heat stroke so I’d feel bad.

Then he said, “I’m not mad anymore. Let’s go back to the mall.” :rotfl2:
So we went back to the mall. I’ve always been worried he was going to get me back one day.:rotfl:

Up next: Mr Diz's Abandonment version

Mr Diz's version of "Abandonment"(page 10)

Actually, I was laughing WITH them when I got on the bus and kept telling Mr Diz how I was going to be talking about him when we got home.

Can't believe they ditched you!:headache: It is great that you had a sense of humour about it later though! I would not have been so forgiving!

Won't even bother to try and quote certain parts. Lets just say - that whole update was funny with a capital F. I snorted at least twice while reading.

That story was a classic, I kept thinking that the bus was going to pull away without you. Glad it didnt, but that is what I thought was going to happen. Keep up the good work. :surfweb:

Love the stroller incident!:rotfl2: How nice of someone to rescue the mickey ears!:rotfl:

I have been lurking for a little while and just want to let you know that I love your TR!!! Also if it makes you feel any better, my family would leave me with all the stuff while they get on the bus, plus they would laugh at me as I struggle to get on :lmao:
