What is the big deal with Palo's anyway? I've looked at the menu in the past and there isn't anything there I would eat. I'm picky and simple......steak and taters for me. Am I missing something?

Palo does have a terrific filet with potatoes... It's just someplace nice to go to with no kids or anything...

It's like any other "nice" restaurant. If you want to go, go. DH and I are looking forward to that chocolate souffle and an evening by ourselves.

I did Norwegian's "Freestyle Dining" about 8 years ago. I'll never go on Norwegian again. It was a disaster! You'd spend 30-45 minutes every day trying to line up where you were eating. And the service was horrible since you never had the same servers.

NCL does let you make a reservation now, but no more than 24 hours in advance, for the "free" dining rooms.
There never was a wait for the extra cost restaurants on our cruise.
