The Contemporary, on the other hand, looks way to bright and noisy for me. I saw a picture once of the inside of the guest rooms. Wow was it bright!

Have you seen the renovated rooms at the CR??

The South Wing and most of the Tower are completed. We stayed in the North Wing in a non-rehabbed room. I usually don't like decor that is too bright, but I didn't think it was bad as the pictures. Plus the rooms are HUGE!

I think the renovated rooms look very classy. I wouldn't exactly make a beeline out of there! Old rooms looked a bit garish, I agree.

Wow! That's way toned down from the previous decor. I remember seeing a room that had a huge red, blue and purple circular pattern in the carpet with a matching bedspread. Major retina burn!

I may have to reconsider where to stay during my February trip!
