Ok, I know this has been asked several times, but of all the planning and booking I've done for our trip, this decision is the hardest!

I will hear about someone recommending a good service, followed by a dozen positive remarks then counterbalanced by a dozen negative remarks! And then I start from square one again!

I've ruled out Tiffany, our first choice, because I e-mailed them and they did'nt feel it was worth their time to e-mail me back. Not a good start for good customer service.

i would highly rec happy limoosuine service. my family and i used them in november and ther service was great! in fact on the way to disney we got a free upgrade to a stretched limo and on the way home a free upgrade to a stretched hummer! prices very reasonable. driver was right on time. they will even stop at a grocery store on the way free of charge if you like so you can buy some things. allso look on mousesavers . com for a code for a 20 dollar or so discountl good luck.

Sorry to hear about Tiffany we have use them the last 3 years with A1 service. :cool1:

That's just the way it is--for every positive review, there may be a negative one out there, even for the good companies.
We were happy with Happy Limo too when I used it for my parents. (we always get a rental but they joined us later) This year we again have friends joining us later, so will be booking a towncar for them. I will probably do Happy Limo again--mafutis, did you know you were getting the upgrades beforehand, or just when you went to get into the car? That sounds fun!

If I don't do Happylimo, I would do FL Tours or Quicksilver. JMHO.

There is a really friendly and efficient town car service called Quicksilver.
Quicksilver Tours Hope no one minds but Ive taken this link from another Disney site. Gregory used to work for Tiffany but has now started his own service. We have met him a couple of times and he is really dedicated to his business.

We've used Happy Limo a lot, both from MCO to Port Canaveral and from the WDW area to MCO. Always nice vehicles and great service.

We used Prestige Towncar last month (prestigetowncar.com) because a co-worker used them and recommended them. Their price was lower than most and they gave us a $5.00 for booking online. The driver was courteous, friendly and very efficient. He was waiting for us at the airport and came a few minutes early when we were heading home. Stopped at Publix for us on the way to Disney. Overall a great experience and I would definitely recommend them.

I had the exact same problem finding a towncar service...it was positively maddening!! In the end I've gone with Quicksilver and I hope I won't be disappointed. I found out that for every positive review, there were three negatives!! I was really hard-pressed to find negative reviews about either Quicksilver or Magic City Transportation.

By the way, I'm not knocking anyone elses experience (just proving the point that everyone sees things differently), but we used Happy Limo last time and were less than "happy" about the service. The delivery driver was OK but the pick-up driver was a bit more than hateful. We had scheduled a van (for five adults including three women) and on the return trip they show up with a limo (which we knew was a possibility). The problem was we each had one more bag leaving than we did going and after he filled the trunk, front seat and part of the back, we had a less than comfortable ride. I kept waiting for the trunk to fly open (he didn't close it very well). Everytime we nicely asked him a question, he just mumbled (and no there was no language barrier) like we were getting on his nerves. The previous tenants had left all their candy wrappers and empty soda cans lying around which wasn't fun to look at and I'm not sure what the smell was inside, but it wasn't pleasant.
Just goes to show, what's good for the goose....

Whatever you choose, good luck and make sure to let us know of your experience!

OK, that's pretty nasty. The luggage thing is not his fault, and I don't really need them to be friendly, (it's nice, but not required, you know?) but I do expect them to clean up after previous guests--especially if they want much of a tip from me. I hate situations like that though, because as much as I would like to, and feel it is deserved to tip very low for that--I never can make myself do it. Usually I would tip a towncar driver at least $20+, but for that I would be tempted to just tip him $5. There's no call for that--he could have emptied that out--there are always garbage cans right at the resorts where you load/unload and at the airport too. If he cares about a tip, he'll clean their garbage up before the next passengers. Maybe you could have called his attention to it, or maybe he just got too distracted with fitting in your baggage to "remember" the mess in back....?

We've used Florida Tours 4 times now, and have had a great experience every time. :flower:

Well, I finally made a decision. Thanks for all your suggestions. I decided to go with Magic City Transportation. Although there has'nt been a lot of reviews on the company, all reviews I have seen on Magic City has been extremely positive. So far, I have been very impressed with the customer service! I had called them this afternoon and got a voice mail system. And within a minute Anthony had called me back! Our transportation itinerary is very complicating but he was extremely patient and friendly. However the "proof will be in the pudding" ...as they say.

I was just going to suggest Magic City! :) IMO any company that monitored our train's delays when we ran 7 1/2 hours late to the station and have the driver be there when you arrive at the station that late is GREAT!!! Please tell Tony that the Graves family says hello!
