Okay, so after some not-so-subtle prodding from someone who shall remain nameless (*cough*Paula*cough*) i am here to try and update our trip plans.

However, there's one teensy tiny itty bitty little problem:








nothing's changed.

All my ADRs are the same as they were when i first posted them... All my park days are the same... i'm pretty boring really, once i make a plan i try to stick to it.

i guess the only thing that's changed, is that we're now coming back over two days, the same as we're going down. We're going to fly to Toronto on Thurs. the 12th, then spend the night in a hotel and take the bus back home on Friday the 13th (hehe). i decided it was too short a time span to make it back to the Greyhound station from the airport (only about 2 hours), and rather than rush it and then have to endure the five hour bus ride, i decided to stretch the trip over the next day. Jess is pleased about this development but my bank account isn't!

So, in real, non-Disney related life, i had to take my BF to the airport on Wednesday and he went back to England

i'm not crazy about the photo really, but it's not terrible.

Not much else is new around here!! i preordered The Sims 3 today, it comes out the week after we come back from WDW, so at least i have something to look forward to!

i hope everyone is doing well and not suffering too much of the January blues. i know gellybean is excited about her trip, they are leaving in only 5 days! i'm so excited for them! It's been super cold here, like -25C, with windchills down near the -35C range (and for those who don't know, -40C is -40F, so -35C is pretty freakin' cold!). Florida will be a huge relief even if it's only warm and not hot!

I'm so glad to see that I am not the only one who doesn't change plans once they are made. The changes you made are probably for the best you and Jess will not have to be rushed or exhausted when you get to Disney.
Again I am so sorry BF had to go back. But April will be here in no time and there is something to say about absence makes the heart grow fonder.
You two look so cute together...I think it is very good picture.

LESS THAN 2 WEEKS

i'm so excited toooooooooooo!!!!! gellybean and her family are there now, she texted me this morning to let me know how things are going, i'm so jealous and so sad that we can't be there at the same time.

But i am still so excited, i dragged out all our stuff today to take stock of it all, Jess and i tried on our t-shirts and chose our favourites. Tomorrow i'm going to iron our little Pooh transfers and our "angel" and "princess" bling on our short jeans, and make my mousekeeping envelopes.

Today i also spent a few hours on a website called Scrapblog and made a scrapbook of some of my favourite pictures, and i was all set to print it, but they will only ship to the United States. i REALLY hate that. It's like snapfish, sending me promotional emails 3 times a week and they all say "Available to US customers only" THEN WHY DO THEY KEEP SENDING THEM TO ME??? i have ordered from them before, they know my address. Sorry i'm venting but that drives me so crazy.

Where was i before i got off on that tangent? Oh yes my scrapblog. It was fun. i've never been able to get into digital scrapbooking, mostly because i suck at it. i mean, i thought i had the hang of Photoshop, i was gettin good at editing pictures, i even figured out how to do that two layer thing where you've got most of a photo in black and white but say a red rose in colour? i mastered that. But the whole digital scrapping thing is beyond me, nothing ever lines up right and after half a dozen concerted efforts, i gave up. i'll stick to my paper scrapping. But anyway i made this one on scrapblog, and it was fun, only now i'm looking at it and i really wish i could print it

i told Jess that on the first day she "has" to wear either a Winnie the Pooh or Eeyore shirt (Crystal Palace character breakfast) and on the second day either Mickey or Minnie (Chef Mickey's character breakfast) but that the other days she can choose her own shirt like a grown up She said ok. Last night she said "why do i have the feeling you're going to be taking pictures of our food all the time?" such a perceptive child.

Today about five o'clock i was waiting for a friend to pick me up for dinner and i was talking with Jess and our brother, Jess and i were speculating what we'd be doing "two weeks from right now". i figured we'd be making our way from POP to the Polynesian to look around before dinner. i can't wait!!! Two weeks from right *now* i will hopefully be sleeping, because two weeks from six thirty tomorrow morning, our wake up call will be ringing!!

Thank you so much! i'm really just starting to get into the whole photography thing, and no matter how many books i read i can't seem to grasp all the stuff you're supposed to know about apertures and shutter speeds and all that stuff... i just see stuff and wonder if i can capture it on film the way i see it, and sometimes i just.. get lucky i guess

That tree on the last page, the black and white one, is probably my favourite picture ever, i remember being crouched on the walkway for about 15 minutes (BF says 20) waiting for all the people to be out of my shot so i could take the picture, and the whole time i was almost shaking because it was so beautiful and i wasn't sure i could get it right, but somehow i did.

That picture of Paul's hands is another of my all-time favourites. i had taken the photo with the reflection in the window, and i was fiddling with my camera settings and checking out the black and white, i took the photo of his hands because he'd asked me not to take any more of him (his hands don't count!) and then when i looked at it, i loved it.

It'll get done........eventually. Too lazy today, and the weather is just gross. Snowing now on top of about 8 hours' worth of freezing rain. i'm staying indoors.

So i did end up attempting the iron-ons today: what a disaster! None of the Disney ones worked AT ALL, and the beaded blingy ones only partially worked. i'm not sure what i did wrong (up til the point where i considered throwing the iron out the window; i KNOW that was wrong). Eventually i gave up.

Jess and i tried on all our shirts yesterday and chose our favourites. She will be wearing the pink Pooh, the white Mickey, the blue Eeyore, the turquoise Tinker Bell and the purple Sally. i will be wearing the purple Eeyore, red Minnie, yellow Pooh, green Tink and pink Eeyore. Poor Jasmine got left out entirely, but we'll bring her along just in case. We also have one day with no shirts: that's so we can buy one while we're there :

If I remember correctly we had several shirts that were alike...I also have the pink Pooh shirt and the purple Eeyore one. Even though it is cold here I every so often still wear it but put a turtle nck under it my patients love to see it on me they get a kick out of me wearing them. And besides it makes me feel like I am still in Disney.
Sorry your shirts didn't turn out like you'd like them to. I only had one that I messed up and it only after I washed it I forgot to not put it in the fryer and the decal melted.

One of the girls at work has been sick with a really nasty bug for a week, she's been dizzy and weak and throwing up like crazy. i haven't started throwing up yet (fingers crossed) but i am so dizzy, every time i lie down i feel like i'm on a boat, all seasick and weird, and standing up and sitting i just feel dizzy and disoriented. Ugh. However, i'm still gonna try to go to work this morning. i'll stay in my office away from any potential members of the public as much as possible.

At least it's now and not next week!

That is the virus that attacked so many here in Ohio right before we left for Disney and it is still going around. Please take care of your self and get lots of rest,drink lots of water and stay positive. I'm sending you some prayers and pixie dust

When we went in 2007 my dd got sick the week before our trip as well...and everything turned out okay ~ she was fine 48 hours later. Sending get-well wishes and pixie dust dreams for a quick recovery and a safe and happy vacation!!

while i was lounging on the bed today i finally did two things i've been putting off forever: mousekeeping envelopes and LGMHs! ILuvCrush made me a beautiful graphic that i'm going to use for my bag tags but i made some smaller ones as well. i wonder if i'll meet anyone from the DIS?

Now i have a question for everyone who's been to Disney lately:

How much did you tip mousekeeping? (if you consider that a personal question and would rather not say here, feel free to PM me).

i hope i can make it to work tomorrow... because otherwise the paycheque i get while we're away isn't gonna have much on it! lol.

When we are on vacation we request no housekeeping, but I usually try to track down the housekeeper and get daily towels and we tip her $2.00 just for that service. If we did use service we would leave $2-4 daily depending on how messy we were.

Glad you got some things done but am sorry you are still not feeling well, hope Jess is feeling good.

I see Mickey is almost there I'm so excited for you.
