Hi guys
Not long now, I'm getting PRETTY excited as I'm sure you can imagine, just had a few questions I wanted to ask that I can't find much info about in the archives.
First of all, as we are going for five days we wanted to take a trip to Paris on the Tuesday (We are going Sun-Thurs). Neither of us have been to Paris before and aren't really sure what we want to do :/ Definitely the Eiffel Tower and Notre Dame and not the Louvre (although I am an arty person I'm just not fussed about seeing the Mona Lisa in person for some reason!) but what other must-sees are there? Maybe a cruise up the river? Which brings me to my other option of the CityRama tour which sounds really good but is pretty pricey :/ we are normally pretty good at getting around places so I'm not too worried and theres lots of brilliant info on here about which trains and tickets to buy etc, I'm just worried we'll spend the whole day wandering round a bit lost and trying to get to places and not really taking it in/having fun!? Would you recommend the CityRama tour for first timers?? Does it give you enough time off the coach so you don't feel all cooped up? And is the headphone tour interesting and informative?
Next, I just wondered what you guys think is the best buffet after Inventions? Even though we are both foodies and looking forward to the good eats as much as the parks, I can't justify the cost of the buffet. We love buffets though as Ben is a veggie and when we went to DLP in 2007 we found a lot of places didn't really cater for veggies :/ or classed fish as vegetarian (!) so we ate at Billy Bobs both nights
which we LOVED haha! Also we don't really want to do a character meal. I would like to have tried California Grill for a treat til I saw the cost and the fact that they serve foie gras....So buffets, so far I've put us down for Billy Bobs, La Cantina (as we are staying at Santa Fe and have to try it! Petrol pump drinks dispensers!) Annettes, Buffalo Bills, Agrabah Cafe for one lunch and we have one evening still to fill. Any suggestions? Maybe Newport Bay?
Thirdly, has anyone done the tour of the Magic Kingdom? I'd really like to do this as I love anything to do with the history of Disney/Walt Disney and just wanted to know if people recommend it?
Finally (for now!) I'm going to book the BBWWS tickets off that French site some time next week so fingers crossed it'll all be fine - Does anyone know what the veggie option is and how I order it, is it just as we go in?
Thanks so much for any information you can help with!
