Curious, I have a Canon Rebel XT. What setting do you use to get such wonderful shots at night of the moving parade? Do you use auto or manual settings?

Do you have the 70-200 f/2.8 as well? That lens is really fast glass (f/2.8) which allows you to get better low light shots.

If you have the kit lens the best it will get to is about f/4.0.

Beautiful shots! Thanks for sharing, they fill the void! We were supposed to leave for WDW tomorrow, but had to cancel our trip because of the snow. We were supposed to have a winter break this weekend, but we have had a lot of snow this year and they took away our break and even added school for this Saturday. Our next trip is not until 2012

Sorry, it is the 2.8 I couldn't think of it correctly off the top of my head.
