I go to disney all the time... at least several times a year.. but alas... I still have questions...

I'm coming back in September for my mother's birthday and free dining :cool1:

and wonder this:

If my mom has a park pass for the day, how can she get the alternate gift card gift, and how much is it for?

How can I get a price list for services offered at the saratoga spa?

and

Has anyone taken the off-roading segway tour at fort wilderness? is it crazy? Can I expect my 59 year old mother to be able to hold up? ( she did well at the around the world on a segway tour last year.

TIA Dis friends! :thumbsup2

This is the only one I know something about...the gift cards are for $75, but the answer is, Sorry! she can't get the alternate gift card because according to the promotion you have to have a multi-day pass to be eligible for the gift card option. This is from the sticky concerning everything about WDW tickets:
Other Options

There are three options available for people who have a valid multi-day (including Annual) pass which they will be using for admission. Note this specifically does not include a one-day, one-park, pass purchased as part of a package and is on the KTTW. These are also not available to people who did not have proof available and received a certificate good for 90 days.

here's the link to that ticket sticky:

you can proabably call the spa for a price list 407-827-4455 or better yet us that link above ;)

eek! so because my mom and I are doing the free dining and buying the park hopper passes that go along with that package, does this mean that this makes her in-elligible for the 75 dollar gift card?? no good!

Thanks so everyone for your info so far... keep it coming!:goodvibes

So do you have multi-day tickets with your package? I assume you're there for at least 3 days to get the free dining so are your tickets also for more than one day? If they are then she CAN get the gift card. (what is not eligible is a ONE day pass.) You pick it up at the Will Call window at Epcot, Hollywood Studios or Animal Kingdom. At Magic Kingdom you can pick it up at Guest Relations. She must have photo id proof of birthday, and her ticket to prove she has a multi-day pass. You can go on-line and register her in advance - will get a voucher to print out and take with you (although people have reported that they forgot to bring the voucher & were still able to get the gift card.) If you have a multi-day pass, you DO get the $75 gift card. If you have only a 1-day ticket, then you do not (since a 1-day ticket does not expire and could be used at a future date).

ok... yes we will have 5 day park hopper passes. so with that she will be elligible for the gift card? =) I'm just trying to make moms vacation awesome =)

My Dad (62 at the time) and I did the FW segway tour last summer and he actually did better on the segways than I did. He loved it and had no trouble with them. Your Mom should be fine if she had no trouble with the ones in Epcot. I really enjoyed that tour better than the one in Epcot.

One quick thing: when we were at Epcot for my birthday, you don't go to guest services for the birthday stuff, you go to the ticket booth all the way down to the left. Hope that helps!

You're good to go then -- with the multi-day pass she can have her choice of the gift card or the birthday fast pass option.
