The last time we went to WDW we had Quick and Casual Meal Vouchers and season passes! It has been a few years!

We are arriving on Saturday, September 22 and departing on Sunday, September 30. I have the Free DP and 7 day park hoppers with water park option.

Does the DP for the entire length of stay? We will get in around 4:00 p.m. on our first day. Will we have a full days dining credit? (I thought we could just eat at the food court and save a table service credit for something that takes two.)

Will we have a full days credit for our check out day of Sunday, Sept 30? We will probably leave very early that morning and not really use any of our credits.

Oh, and I have a park hopper question while I'm at it. (I know wrong board!). We have 7 day hoppers with the water park and more option. Aparently that gives us six extra options like DQ or a water park. If we were to visit Disney Quest on the eveing that we arrive does that use one of our 7 days? Does this make any sense?

Thanks so much for all of your expertise.

You will have a full allocation of dining credits for each night of your stay, and they will all be available from checkin until midnight of your checkout day.

I guess! Just to be clear, the Dining Plan does not use vouchers. Instead, there are dining credits on your room keys.

Welcome to the wonderful world of the new DDP! Having credits on your room key is SO much better than those crummy vouchers.

JimMIA is right--# of credits is based on each night of your stay. So if you use 1 TS, 1 CS and 1 snack each day in between arrival and departure day (Sun 9/23-Sat 9/29), you'll have one day's worth of credits left to either split between arrival and departure day or use sometime during the week. To use them during the week, you could either have an extra meal one day, or book a restaurant or show that requires 2 TS credits one night. Does that make sense?

You're going to want to make your ADR's for your TS restaurants pretty soon, if you haven't already. Some of the more popular places (Le Cellier) are already pretty well booked up for dinner during your week. I know because we'll be there then too :wave2: and we had a choice of before 4:45 or after 7:45 for dinner a couple of nights.

And use of your WP&M ticket does NOT count toward the 7 days you have on your parkhoppers. Think of it this way--p/h's are based on the # of days you use; WP&M are based on the number of visits. So if you go only to the MK one day, it uses 1 day of your 7 p/h days. If you go to MK in the morning, Epcot in the afternoon, and MGM at night, it will use 1 day of your 7 p/h days. If you go to DQ one day, it will use one visit of your 6 WP&M visits. If you go to Disney Quest in the morning, Blizzard Beach in the afternoon and Pleasure Island at night, it will use 3 of your 6 WP&M visits. If you go to MK in the morning, BB in the afternoon, Epcot for dinner, and PI at night, you may need to call an ambulance to take you to the hospital, but it will use 1 day of your 7 p/h days and 2 of your 6 WP&M visits.

HTH!
