No Formal Night Right? It will be much easier taking only sundresses and Dockers/Polos this time.

Are there any special buffets (Seafood, Midnight, Dessert) on the 4 Day?

Are there no more pressed pennies on the ships?

A while back I read something about Waverunners at Castaway Cay. Does anyone know anything about this?

Does anyone know how far Dixie Crossroads is from the Radisson. Trying to decide if we need a rental car for the evening once there for dinner and Ron-Jon's. I'm thinking probably so. I think I remember Ron-Jons being a few miles down the road.

Thanks

I'll take a crack at a couple of those.

There's no formal night on the 4-day, but jackets are still "recommended" for men for dinner at Triton's and if you go to Palo.

There's a dessert buffet served on deck 9 after the party on the night you leave Nassau.

Hi...Palo is open everynight but day four eve are tought due to the repeat in the regular restauraunts

Ditto to those answers. Dixie Crossroads is probably about 20-30 minutes from the port depending on traffic, etc.

The dessert buffet is on the Freeport evening after the deck party.

As many have said here, the bar at Palo is always open too if you don't want to give your short cruise time with a dinner, but want to catch some of the ambience.

Nope. No formal night. But you can get dressed up for Tritons. Palo dressup is a must.

I know for sure they have a seafood buffet at Beach Blanket Buffet for one of the lunches.

Nope

Check Dave's site for info on car rentals. You can get one way rentals from MCO to the port for a reasonable price. We were able to drive up to Dixie Crossroads (thanks Andy for the recommendation) and over to Ron Jon's for some shopping. It is very easy to return the car after dropping your stuff at the terminal on embarkation day.

Palo's is open for dinner and brunch. The brunch is to die for!! We also had a buffet at 11:00 one evening on deck nine.

Do you mean that Palo has a brunch now on the 4 night cruise? Before it was only on the 7 night.

We've done both the dinner and brunch but that was on our 7 day cruise. I did not know what was offered on the 4 day. Do people start lining up for ressies immediately upon embarkation? I remember on the 7 day ressies didn't start until like 1:00 or so and we went to the buffet but then I got nervous and went up for the ressies and they did open early. Just trying to get my game plan. If I need to I'll send family to buffet while I stake out a spot in line. Thanks!

Yes, Palo's now has brunch on the 4 day. Just ask for it when you are making dinner reservations. It is on the same day as the day at sea. Reservations started at 1:00.

Just came back from the 2/1 4-day on the Wonder and we had both a dessert buffet and a Mexican buffet on hte Nassau evening (around 10:45 pm). There were quite a few different desserts as well as fajitas and other Tex-Mex fare. The Seafood buffet was served on the day at sea.
