Yes, as Sammie says, most defintely don't expect them to be safe, in the wet, if the tread is worn down.............

Anyone know roughly how long it takes to "wear out" a pair of Crocs?
Given average wear and tear, will I get a year out of them?

What's 'average'?

I wore mine every day for 3 months and the tread is almost completely gone, but then I do a lot of walking.

Any other shoes which I've worn that much would also be worn out to some extent.
